  1. Where are you?
  2. I would imagine for the same reason as you appear to be unable to move them.
  3. Please excuse my ignorance, but how does one become a "registered" owner, as apposed to just an owner? Do you have to have purchased the machine from one of your dealers?
  4. Maybe the new expire, due to the photo?
  5. I've done loads of trees overhanging rail fences and never had a issue. Not saying its right, just relating my experience.
  6. I guess people generally get a fresh one when they move, I ain't moved far.
  7. Our resident racist and pant messer.
  8. No, I got a speeding ticket earlier this year, sent it off, no issue.
  9. Totally agree!! I think this is a case of the "Westminster bubble" they and the likes a of matey can't comprehend that some people don't travel or need a passport, some people just lead a quiet life. I heard accounts of people coming forward with payslips cover decades and that not being seen as proof. Its like me, I have a paper driving licence, the same one I got 30 years ago after passing my test, people are often shocked I don't have photo one.
  10. Thats the thing, you don't need to mate
  11. Thats the one! Every pub has one.
  12. Is he not just one of those really annoying people who genuinely believe they know more and are smarter than everyone else, you know the sort, "Oh you don't to do it like that"
  13. Genuinely happy people don't "make a song and dance" about it. They just get on with life. Its the same with most things, those who feel the need to tell you they "a real grafter" "well hard" "the best climber ever" etc, etc, are IME the complete opposite. They are trying to convince themselves more than you.
  14. Thank you Mark!!! not just me thinking this way!!! We live in a world of utter bullshit, spin and PC bollocks!!!!!!!!! I'm sick of it. Some one drops a fag end in town and gets an £80 fine, hundreds release 100's of balloons for the very sad death of a child and thats fine???????? WTF???????????????????
  15. Hehe, that never gets old!!
  16. Err.. No, have you checked your BMI? those figures are good, thats a BMI of under 25.
  17. Bang on mate, its so funny when "lard arses" start pointing at athlete and saying how crap BMI is!!! Brilliant, you could not make it up
  18. Does he have to say it twice?
  19. 100% correct, even raking up leaves than have fallen on your land from a neighbours tree and throwing them onto their land could lead to you being done for ‘fly tipping’
  20. Pricing work correctly makes the difference between misery and happiness, it means you wake up looking forward to the day, rather than dreading it.
  21. When I first started line clearance 20 odd years ago, spikes were pretty much mandatory. On shutdowns speed was everything and when working live lines, throwing ropes is a bit of a no no. I remembers spiking a beautiful Beech in a huge garden in the Lakes Things have moved on some what since then. These days I only spike timber thats coming out.
  22. Also, just because there is enough money in the job why would I want to reduce my profit, I’m constantly looking to increase it ?
  23. The article stated that he had lads watching for people, parked cars are often very difficult to get shifted. In 20+ years of trading I've never had any body or any organisation ask about HSE prosecution or RIDDORS and I've worked for CC, BC, utility Co's, etc. I would expect his insurance to be a bit of an issue, but I think there are ways round that
  24. Looks like he was pulling from an angle off to the side, rather than from directly in front. This works fine so long as you have sufficient pull and a good thick hinge. There looked to be virtually no hinge. The fine was pretty low, he cocked up, but I doubt its career ending. Pretty sure he'll not make that mistake again. I guess you could argue that the system works.
  25. There is only one race of humans. If there were different races they would not be able to procreate together.
