  1. I'm working class, but my wife and younger children are middle class. My ambition is to have enough money to enjoy the same lifestyle as my wife and children.
  2. Much of the article is about buying locally, supporting the local economy etc, yet its was produced at the request of a US company, who's equipment appear to be the major assets the Co has purchased. Irony?
  3. Apparently Khan is all for free speak. Wonder how he would feel about a blimp of Allah?
  4. Can't believe no one had and air riffle or at least a slingshot, make me kind of ashamed to be British.
  5. Poplar is not a soft wood.
  6. Bugger.
  7. Can't relate to that at all, in fact I probable feel the opposite way.
  8. Way I heard it from the coach who was interviewed on the radio, the coach with them is the assistant coach and a really nice guy. The coach reckoned the boys would have convinced the assistant coach that they always went so far in and it was safe, the assistant was unfamiliar with the caves did not realise the risks.
  9. Looks like a new fence, has there been much development/land disturbance near the tree?
  10. You leaving us?
  11. Very true, before winter I intend to invest in a load of tarps and sheet up as much of the timber I can in my yard. I really don't want to loose all the gains this weather is creating!
  12. Problem is you go £480, they will just go £460 and there begins the race to the bottom.
  13. Pretty sure thats not 5 tonne.
  14. I hope thats true.
  15. Or are the days of the 6'2" bobby who would bravely stand toe to toe with anyone are a thing of the past?
  16. I don't know a great deal about this, but from what I've seen, it appears his daughter is a air head who spouts crap about stuff she has little or no understanding of and in a effort to try and make her appear a little less stupid he tries to imply no one understands Brexit or its implications, whilst using profanities, I presume in an effort to gain support from "his sort". The guy appears to be pretty dim, which probably explains his offsprings limited intellect.
  17. I think the lack of police action is the biggest bug bare most people have. Why is one group given so much slack, when others who appear to follow the rules are jumped on double quick?
  18. You need to go back to page three and have a reread.
  19. https://www.thwaites.co.uk/news-and-awards/200-year-brewery-forced-off-site-travellers/#
  20. Yeah, particularly common in beech. Heres a good example posted by Mr H.
  21. I guess no one with the required knowledge spotted the "Big ears"?

    eBay scam?

But thats because you used PayPal, they can take the money back off the scammer so eBay is not out of pocket. Pretty sure you won't get a refund for a bank transfer, as the money has gone. The same is the case when selling, if the buyer claims theres a problem and you can't disprove it, they will refund them, taking back YOUR money.
  23. I think there is also a bit of the OP trying it on a bit. Mr Sparky should have asked how much for the extra tree, when he didn't I wonder if the OP just saw pound signs? Personally I think I would have been in £80 to £100 range for the extra tree, as I was already there, BUT I would not of even considered starting the extra tree without an agreed price.
  24. You have been played. Deciding to get a 20ft tree removed is not normal a sudden decision. I think he always intended to have both trees down and stitched you up.
