  1. How can you know you missed it by pennies? The winner only pays one bid more than the next highest bid, for all you know the winners highest bid may have been hundreds more than yours.
  2. OK, google says Vehicle Registration Marketing, in other words "private plate".
  3. No idea I'm afraid, have tried googling VRM???
  4. Does this mean that anything that happened to vehicle while it had the other plate on is not recorded here and you need to find out what the other number was and run a check on that too????
  5. Why were you not wearing spikes?
  6. Quite wintery here today, so cooked breakfast earlier, fire roaring, best Port and Mountain men on the box.
  7. Yeah right, because all our citizens are real smart
  8. If you have the saw hanging from your harness when chogging, your doing it wrong, IMO.
  9. OK, its just thats a term often used by home owners, they say they want their tree "Crowned", I then ask what they mean, "Crown lift", "Crown thin", "Crown reduced"??? It generally turns out that what they really want is their tree "Topped", IE cut in half
  10. NO!! these will not be of the correct strength and could lead to failure and possible damage, even danger to those operating the chipper!!!!!!!
  11. Its more fun bidding with 4 seconds to go yourself, plus you beat those who are using "sniper"
  12. The saddest thing about this is there looks to be no need whatsoever for those braces.
  13. The funniest thing is people have been dumping it for years, saying it was no good, even tree guys who should have known better.
  14. This is the second time you have said this, I'm looking forward to seeing your £1M chipper and £1M boots
  15. Is this something you really need?? Yorkshire Bank was very good, really nice manager who came out to see me and massaged my ego, sure it made me feel special and wanted, but they still had to check with head office for approval of all borrowing etc. Now I ring a call centre, they have all my details at their finger tips and approve things in minuets. I liked Yorkshire, but I was not prepared to pay £35 per month for them to have my money in their account.
  16. Not long, maybe 6 months tops, so long as its undercover, you will know when its dry because it becomes very, very light.
  17. No, mines free, unless mines no longer open to new business???
  18. My advice would be to move to Santander, I've been with them for about 4 years now, free banking, good overdraft, decent service, OK its like dealing with a machine rather than people, but at this price who cares???
  19. Council welfare trailers are like that these days too, helps prevents them getting stolen.
  20. All well and good when the ground is nice and flat, add a few shrubs, rockeries and gnomes and you could soon find yourself in A&E!!! Should they really be cutting that Yew when its so frosty???
  21. Once dry it is excellent fire wood, IME.
  22. Are there many Herons round your way???
  23. Don't bother Mark, I hear they are weak and soft, there no work in them and you would come down in a morning and not be able to find them as they will of run of to hide.
