  1. Scrambled eggs, with a little cheese and plum tomatoes for breakfast. A leafy salad with meat or fish, some times with boiled eggs, often with sun dried tomatoes, beetroot, stuffed olives, ect, you need some things with good strong flavour to spice it up, IMO, for lunch, with fruit for afters. Tea is normally what ever the family is having but without spuds and extra steamed veg. This is just my personal take on things, I'm by no means strict and do have chocolate, beer, wine and even cake or bread from time to time.
  2. I was in hospital the other day and they said my BMI was perfect.
  3. I'm staggered that you would hire another truck rather than find a way to remove the grinder from yours If all else had failed, I would have found a suitable tree, driven under it, used lowering gear to lift the grinder a little, driven the truck out, push trailer under, lower grinder, and got on with life. In your situation I would find my own engineer to fix the machine and then make it my lives mission to tell all I could just what an appalling service you received from the supplier and try to cost them as mean sales as I possible could. I bought a used grinder, sold as seen, but in working order, the belt was shot, I asked them to provide me with I new belt (£64) they refused, I will never buy from them again and will discourage users from using them whenever I can:sneaky2:
  4. Yes but my rope was cheaper
  5. Yes, I have trees in my yard that have grown from logs and my yard is not that wet.
  6. In 20 years I've not had a tree I've climbed fail on me and if I can get the price of a MEWP on the job I put it in my pocket as profit
  7. I agree, plus as I tell people I'm more interested in how I feel than how I look.
  8. I'm still loving the low carb diet, never felt better, but getting lots of stick for looking to thin? anyone else finding this??
  9. Thats the opposite of a safety guard.
  10. The first question any insurer will ask is what experience and qualifications do you have. Would you not be better getting job working for an established firm in order to gain experience and at least some basic qualifications??
  11. And yet you think its worth £250!!!!!!!
  12. :confused1:If you did not think it was a trailer, what did you think it was?????
  13. Such a valuable contribution!!! If only we could all come up with such words of wisdom!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Mine did that a few weeks back:thumbdown:
  15. You should receive a TPO decision within 8 weeks, but theres very little you can do if they take longer. You should really give the council 5 days notice of your intension to fell a dangerous tree with the CA, however if its dangerous and likely to injure someone you should make safe immediately, but you will need to be able to defend your actions, taking pictures is a good idea.
  16. You need to be well under the threshold really, trading with a turn over near to it is pretty dangerous, go one penny over and you suddenly owe the VAT man up to £16,200:001_huh:
  17. Plus there is a never ending stream of new guys who work for nothing for far to long
  18. Although………….. staying at home would have cost more…………...
  19. Not sure thats true, many work for very limited profit and live a very simple life, which is fine, but I want a fairly high standard of life, I like to live well, I don't want my wife to work and I need to provide well for my 4 children. So some will be happy to make far less than me per day, but not go bust. I personally think many undervalue their skill and time, but thats their right.
