  1. Of cause its fair, if your rich a small fine means nothing! Why do the rich pay more tax????
  2. Here you go Magistrates Court fines - you were not MEANS TESTED
  3. They most certainly are.
  4. Surely court should consider how the punishment will impact on each individual. They want to see proof of your income, as a £100 fine may impact heavily on a low earner or someone on benefits, but would mean little to a wealthier individual. In the same way should one drink driver loose all they have work years to build up in the form of a business, when another looses almost nothing from the ban, as they are on the dole??
  5. Stihl saws are already made in China, by Stihl.
  6. If you think the 201 is flimsy, you will ain't gonna like the 540, give them a hard stare and they break!!, IME I totally agree with the point your make, the build quality of new saws is atrocious

    Saws

Which saws don't have inertia chain brakes?
  8. And this alters what????????????????
  9. Alex Price has a used 6.5t Fransgard in.
  10. Nope, it appears you know far more about this subject than I Pampas Grass, the symbol of swingers | urban75 forums
  11. Not sure how any of this would apply to me or anyone running a Co my size?
  12. I use the hedge cutter to remove the top and stump grind the base. Take care when chipping the top, it can easily block a chipper, best to mix some timber in with it.
  13. I was thinking the very same, utter madness
  14. A good trainee will be more interested in the opportunity you are giving them than the money. If their only interest is in the money they will soon leave to set up on their own once trained, so I'd not be interested in training them.
  15. Personally I would not recommend rest, I had it in both elbows for over 18month, I wore a neoprene support, which helped, mainly by keeping the joint warm I think. I just kept on going and eventually it went away, I changed nothing. Its been more than 5 years since I had it and I've been absolutely fine since.
  16. From where would one purchase this HAAS of which you speak??? Please:001_smile:
  17. Ain't that the truth!!!!!
  18. Just another bump on the road I guess, running a business is about finding solutions to the problems that come along. How long you lost it for?? Will you let others continue to drive even when you get your licence back??
  19. Are you looking like your going to loose your licence???
  20. You can obviously get an employee to drive if required. The guy I use for some stump grinding was very ill and while recovering he hired a driver to drive his van to and from jobs (he still operated the grinder)
  21. Rubbish!!! IMO. This can be "just a job", plenty of people do their "job" very well, putting in the required effort and commitment. Many of us work to live, not live to work.
  22. When it comes to trainees that statement is utter nonsense, IMO.
  23. Much of what you say is true, but it won't stop you getting prosecuted and fined. IME, if your professional and good at what you do people won't be looking at your rope configuration, etc.
