    day rate

If they can get the people they need for the rates they are paying why would they want to pay more? You would need to be increasing the productivity and profit for it to be in their interests to pay you more.
  3. In preparation for all the extra profit this versatile machine is going to generate
  4. Yes, but then we would have seen the incident, in this case we only have "hearsay".
  5. Must be wonderful to be perfect and never make an error. Hope the guys OK and makes a full recovery, accidents do happen, even when all the correct checks and procedures are followed, even by the most experienced.
  6. For many years I only had an 020 and 66, in recent years I've had a 460, its a cracking saw, don't use my 66 much these day, although its a fantastic saw when needed.
  7. Whitebeam? Looks more like Acer, to me.
  8. Defiantly Norway Spruce, cut by someone who can't sned.
  9. You vandal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. I think its just thin cambium in some mature trees, as found in the immature.
  11. IME, the little old lady's on limited incomes are the first to maintain their own trees, not wishing to inconvenience others.
  12. That post make no sense at all
  13. I always feel happiest when the owner of the tree pays for its maintenance, it really annoys me when some little old lady on limited income is paying for the cutting and disposal of her wealthy neighbours overhanging trees!!!
  14. Yes, but thats not law, the law is unfortunately not based on wright or wrong or industry best practice. Come on the client has already payed for the cutting, should they really pay for disposal too?????????
  15. It always gets resolved, it's clear you are entitled to remove to boundary and over hanging 'trespassing' branches. (So long as there is no TPO or CA) If pedants wish to argue about wether its 'Law' or some other means that makes this the case, good luck to them, but it don't interest me
  16. Listen to Rupe, he's really got this one covered
  17. Cool!! Thats great!!!!!!!! Then they can close all the schools, hospitals, sack the police and firefighters, stop benefits etc, etc, We can all sit back praying we don't get ill or fall on hard times and laugh at those that do, while counting all the cash we've saved
  18. I sorry but unless I'm very much mistaken both the above are completely wrong, your neighbour does not have the right to steal your air space with their tree. The over hanging branches can be removed, to boundary, they should offered to the tree owner, if the tree dies or is unstable (which I personally think is nonsense) tough, the tree should not have been planted so close to the boundary.
