That'll be let out soon Just wondering what insurances people use? I did see an ad pop up on the forum for one that specialises in Arb work and also has public liability of 2m.

There is only one company around us which is about 10 miles away.

Thanks, I enjoy doing electrical work, though I don't really want to get into the domestic scene and working with my dad I don't really want to go start on my own doing what he does, I would start this up part time and still work for my dad, so I can assure income to my house, though once this takes off I would then begin doing it full time. When I say part time, I wouldn't turn down customers for my electrical job, they would of course come first, but days when I have no tree work I will go and work for my dad. I also feel that electricians around my area aren't really in demand, if anything we're quiet because there are a few too many.

Hello, I am currently an electrician but for years have had a passion for working outdoors. I am interested in starting a business in my local area (Shropshire) and it would start off with ground work. Anyone got any advice for starting? Are there any regulating bodies and such?
