  1. I thought it was a Jag engine. Plenty of none millionaire enjoying their Disco 3/4's round here
  2. You would think so. Are you going to the APF? I bet you could one there.
  3. I think the ones available are generally Hickory, which is pretty good. Are you wanting it to display rather than use?
  4. Can you not get one from a local Ironmongers/hardware store??
  5. My mog is insured with the NFU, has been for over 10 years and the two mogs before this one. But its not cheap, there is a 100% loading for doing domestic tree work, it costs between £1600 and £2K per year.
  6. Were you there?????? Wow!! you don't half like making assumptions!!!
  7. Err…….no…………… There is more happiness in giving, than receiving, as jesus allegedly said
  8. Hardly a fair comment from your position of ignorance

  11. They don't hold a hinge that well, IME, they can also be intertwined with each other, so care is needed.
  12. My advice would be if you tighten the chain when hot, loosen it before it cools
  13. If you are not felling from the ground, my advice would be, go high and go small!!
  14. Take care!!! Tightening a hot chain is pretty risky, the chain will shrink when it cools, this can bend the crankshaft!!!
  15. It does not sound like you have ever used a good chipper.
  16. Thats simply nonsense, why are they fitted with "no stress" systems???? its to slow delivery, larger engines means they don't need the delivery slowed as often, which dramatically speeds up throughput.
  17. The depreciation on landrovers has to among the lowest there is and will only improve when production ceases. Transits will safely carry an illegal load better IMO, still illegal though.
  18. I'm still avoiding bread, potatoes and milk, I have the odd treat like cream cakes and donuts now and then, but I'll never go back to egg and chips with 4 slices of bread. My drinking was getting a bit out of hand, I was asked at the doc's how many units a week I was drink, it made me realise I was drinking most night, I know try to only drink on friday nights and the weekend.
  19. So the no stress is not kicking in?? I run a 9" Schiseling powered by a 240HP unimog, we seldom chip stuff over 6", but its so fast because it just never stops.
  20. Whats your tracked chipper earning when your using your tow behind??
  21. But in the end he changed and worked to bring about the current peace. Some times the leopard can change its spots.
  22. I heard some of the tributes to him today on radio 4, I had a pretty low opinion of him, but by all accounts he was a man of real conviction who although he hated Catholicism, did not hate Catholics and even help many of them. He swallowed his pride and worked with his enemies for the greater good of all. RIP Ian.
