  1. i now localy that they are well used for bedding animals down just sprinkle them with a little water and it reverts back to sawdust. I dont know if the same as fuel pellets but to set up with a stove and auger to be able to use them correctly it would be a while to recouperate the costs i would imagine.
  2. i have a treeflex has its faults but i find it brill for back support its shaped to fit into the spine snug not the best on the nads mind if you havnt got it set right you soon learn after a few nips ha ha

  5. i price per job to be honest, look at it see what wood it is how its stacked access to site and are you removing chip or leaving on site? Usualy its a case of theyve cut tree down and then want you to clean up thats what ive found anyway.

  9. if they are wet they go mouldy thats my experiance ive found putting them in frames made of pallets with a lid on is better let the airflow dry them.

    084 part is wrong one its a spur sprocket on mine with big notches in so will call at dicks and change it if ok

  14. mines 4 months old and does that its a pain in the ass gettin the old one rebuilt as a spare then send new one to uncle dicks for repair. no were near as good as last one imo

  19. If on tractor insurance would this cover you for tree work ? I thought it had to be declared on the time of proposal the actual use of machine ? If in an accident could insurance refuse to pay out ? not digging just curious
  20. Ask skyhuck all that is true but wat happens if the clutch goes or engine blows how much will it cost then? only an observation not a critisisum think mogs are over priced personally but they are specialised kit though

  22. have you taken into account the repair bills and the cost of parts compaired to a standard lorry i think the operators licence and the upkeep of a truck could work out cheaper than the buying and running of a mog. Thinks its a boys toy image with a lot of people. Would a transit not hold more wieght wise than a landrover i thought landrovers were only able to carry 1 ton and tow 3.5 ton?
  23. I bought my maul for less than 20quid it works perfectly especially wen other half is using it lol
