  4. had some hail last night but hills around arnt white yet thankfully.
  5. Do any of you guys on here run there transits on off road tyres? Ive looked into this and cant seem to get any luck into getting any for my size (185/15). cheers
  6. Wats up with you its only down the motorway depends on were in manchester it is !
  7. put it at side of the road and put a sign on it saying for sale. come back in morning it will all be nicked lol
  8. we take one with us, hot days he stays home unless its in a dodgy area then hes on duty gaurding the van. I used to run 3 working sheepdogs and heat can kill a dog pretty fast! Hot days dogs indoors with plenty of water. If it was realy sunny i used to run dogs in little bouts and swap them over, with resting dogs riding in motor or on quad. Tree work isnt realy a place for dogs to run round on job but cant see an issue with letting them out at breaks.
  9. cheers for that be interesting to see what you have
  10. no this tree monkey cant id it never seen one that old
  11. why have they discontinued the saw if it seems so popular?
  12. oak sawdust could change your egg yolks green aparently. The hardwood sawdust could it not be used for the smoking of meat?
  13. What do you class as minors? If the students are over 16 then whats the problem the picture is out of focus so not a perfect identification anyway. my concern would be has the orange helmet got a chinstrap??

    038 av

i have a 038av thats mostly intact just a few bits missing! Any guys or gals out there got a dead one sat taking up room and want to part with it? I fancy rebuilding it as it would be a handy spare to have about. Cheers
  15. ive a little piece of walnut about 8ft long and 10 to 12inch diameter ive got it sat in the pile i just think its a shame to put in the log pile im just playing with a small piece about 16inch x 8to10 inch wide it has a lovely grain i cut it freehand into planks just dont know wat to do with it.
  16. i am using morris mineral chain oil that seems fine. I would give it a try but is there a standard they have to comply to?
  17. found it on google images to be honest.it looks a fairly modern saw but ive never seen one before.I had an idea it would be a subject on here its just finding it in the mass of collected information
  18. found this while browsing any ideas what its for?
  19. i had a 250 it had a 16inch bar on and it was fine as long as the chain was sharp. if you go to 3/8 you would be taking more wood off per cutter so wouldnt that make the saw work harder? if the wood is seasoned it would be harder so therefore it would take more power to cut it.
  20. dont forget that if you use oak any ferrous material will turn blue:) make one out of green wood and let them apprciate the chainge in the wood as it dries out. if you were nearer i could happily supply some ive got leftovers from wen i made my fireplace.
  21. i have some sip ones there type a but dont climb in them. i have sip freedom for climbing they are fine and im sure the hi vis would be similar. if i needed some hi vis climbing trousers id personaly try sip first.
  22. hey up crudpicker did i finish what the hedge yes,

If you want to be given meat ask batey he will ablige lol

  23. my thoughts to family and all that is affected with such a tragedy.
  24. is there water in your control box? also is there 1 or 2 control boxes? i have a landforce and had simular trouble. if you set your machine running and on the end of your hydrolic valve theres a dimple in the middle if you push that in it should set the rollers going.Trying this should tell you weather its hydrolic or electrical. The other problem could be the switch on the stop bar if thats faulty then it wont enable the rollers to start. If you hold the feed in button do the rollers run?
