  1. Im on with making one im using a rsj with threequarter inch plate foot plate. The ram is attached to the side of the girder and a piece of railway line as the wedge, the base of the rail line is attached to the rsj with brackets so it can slide up and down, made one before and it works fine so im doing one for my kabota.
  2. Im not a brill climber or a fast climber,in my oppinion if you finish the day with no injuries no damage and a happy customer. That is far better than trying to screw more money out of people. I now sub climb for companies and they ask me back by subying its made me more proffesional and faster for my own tree work.Bickering over a few quid isnt worth it i value the experience more.
  3. Welcome all its getting busy here didnt know there was so many arb guys n girls out there!
  4. That guy must have balls like chirch bells.I bet he sleeps well. Watched that vid twice awsome!!! I would like to climb one that was healthy but in all honesty i would struggle.
  5. Thanks found you all at last. I was getting lonely on the other side.

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
