  9. Are the figures for our industry arb related accidents or chainsaw related accidents? If chainsaw related does that include the "experts" that bought their saw from a diy shop with no PPe to be seen then cause unknown desasters in their garden!!!!!!!! Then our insurance goes off the a&e chainsaw related instidents.

  12. Shame it was a lovely tree! Would have worn more PPE for the film myself.Did i see a 200T been used on the floor?
  13. How much is the wood worth when its planked?
  14. Wrap the venison in one of those coolbags and in will keep it a bit cooler for the post.
  15. To cut on chainsaw sawmills the angle on the cutters should be set at 10 degrees rather than the 30 degrees usualy used in tree felling plus i would have my chain oil pump set on full to get as much lubrication as possible. Logosol have one that you fasten to the bar like the alaska you can us a ladder as your straight edge to make your first cut then you follow that to plank the rest of the log. I have one that fastens to the saw bar and it works ok but if you use a long bar on it the tip of the bar can flex so you wont get an even plank it can be wavey. Doing a large diameter log like yours i would go for the one that holds both ends of the bar. When your cutting down the grain on such a size of log i would go for the most powerful saw possible as it is harder cutting this way.
  16. i would prefer another collie myself they can chase sheep better than me.
