  2. Its ok saying dont use flyers,but if you are setting up on your own back and you havnt got any backup,flyers would be an option to me. I started with nothing and built up my buisness from working hard and asking advice from fellow tree guys,ive subbied to gain experiance and im getting there.Thanks to you guys on here that have helped me. My advice if you need to do flyers why not if they are binned by the householder and you only get a few its more than nowt and your on your way. Good look mate dont talk about it do it.

  4. I think that a second hand chipper is better than nothing,I wundered how the f**k i managed jamming all the brash into a tranny van.Thank god for the second hand market.
  5. Your right with that but the times arnt flush with tree work at the moment,so i wouldnt get finance not yet nehow.
  6. My advice from experiance is dont live out of your means,buy as you need and not to get finance for anything until you have enough work to pay for it.

  11. If you use flyers that are eyecatching and look professional saying your quals and that your insured and you are willing to give customer references if you have them,wouldnt that be better than sitting at home hoping for the phone to ring?
  12. i must admit i havnt been honest entirely forgot to tell you i have A tipper,A chipper,a discovery ,4x4 tractor,transit van,4 trailers, 36 sheep,4 dogs,3 ferrets and 1 hay rack plus a mole trashin my field. P.S sounds good but all that glitters aint gold lol
  13. Hello im skyhucks subbie and yes i have a landforce.It has had its problems and its secnd hand so wat do you expect. I am happy with it,it chips like f**k and i can get on with my job the rollers work fine.The stop bar has a pin to reduse rattling it is a bit heavier than some and that is because it is made of steel not tin. How can you critisise on a machne so much? You have to use it for a lenght of time to realy appreciate them. I have a high expectation of my kit its my living and my life depends on it. Dont critisisize someone you dont know!!!!!

  16. I had the same with mine took it in to uncle Dicks and it came out with new carb.It worked out under a ton and a lot cheeper than replacing it. Aparently i was told there was a bad batch of carbs on the 200s but i love the saw.
  17. I have a marlow bag got it free from buxtons its good but spikes dont fit,in ropes ,strop ,harness and throwline and its tight.Im goin to treat my self to a new one.

  20. I know wats in my meat i rear my own and get venison from a local deer farm,Which for the record i shoot and cook my self for my own consumption. And it tastes great. THIS IS MY OPPINION AND NOT INTENDED TO OFFEND
  21. I`ve been shooting all my life ive got air rifles,centre fire rifles and even a hand gun. All these are owned legitimately and used in accordance with the giudelines laid out by the shooting bodies and the law. The fire arms air guns or baseball bats watever they can get there hands on,the dislodged members of our society will kill maim or torture with any thing they can get there tapped hands on. People who have a place to use there air guns safely should be left to go about their hobbies without been bullied by the uneducated penpushers.
