  1. were do you get that attachment for the tip of the bar?

  12. were you measuring the outside of the log as i thought you split them and measured the inside of the log???????
  13. it was origionaly for the utility services then converted to the truck it is now there was a thread on rb44 s and i posted a picture there and it was identified there cant remember what was said about it
  14. cab is based on a ford "A" series transit apparantly

  16. no got a new battery on still same so starters coming off then get it revamped need it to run the log splitter.
  17. i had plit logs on it then i drove it to other end of field to stop scrotes nicking them. Its a boughton reynolds 4wd with hydrolic winch on the front and a ferrari hiab on the back the transfer box has a pto point on it as well but dont know how to make that happen:(

  19. take the starter cover off the opposite side and put a socket on it then youve no chance of damaging the piston or pot .
  20. i have a stihl one i havnt compared it yet but a customer decided to go to another supplier because they were cheaper.the wood was all hardwood and wouldnt burn properly so she rang me to take some. on testing with the meter on 3 pieces of wood from each batch the other suppliers were averaging 31% and mine straight off the van in drizzly conditions mine averaged 20% so mines proved a point so im happy with it the other supplier had delivered the wood at the end of september and it was in a shed so it must have been pretty fresh when delivered.
  21. how you getting to the top?throw line then the long haul? I usualy climb using the limbs to help nowere near as tiring as climbing the whole tree in one(unless your spiking).
  22. works work at the end of the day.I sub to a company and i leave at 5.30 and get back wen i do. loads of people comute to work if your using your own diesel to get to reading then charge but if its a 1 off why upset a regular income?
  23. new shoes? there full of mud cant see them!
  24. people employ them! for much the same price could have someone with skills and equipment to do job properly!
  25. cebora 150 its a good welder only thing i dont like is it doesnt have a euro torch on it .
