  1. Because you don't need to tow owt dropping the kids at school Deano
  2. It's just personal preference mate, some people like flash motors and private regs, some like old bangers coz they probably aren't into cars and prefer other things. If I won the lottery, I'd buy a bright green lamborghini, mod the exhaust and drive it like I stole it and get slagged off rotten by many people BUT I wouldn't care
  3. It's up to the person buying to buy whatever they want, I can't believe so many people are commenting slagging others off for buying cars. Life's far too short to get wound up about things like that. Just don't let it worry you. If the worst thing that happens to you in a day, is that you turn your nose up at an office boy buying a brand new defender, I'd consider that a very good day
  4. The trouble with that is, if everyone said £100 across the board, that's the price end of. You'd still get people saying "well I'll do it for £80" to get the work, then 70 then 60, then doing it for the wood or free for experience, stupid people working for nothing are killing it these days! Not the guys employing them
  5. Found the Merc chipper/shredder. Never seen one of these before,
  6. How heavy are they?
  7. Geoff there were 14 dwarfs all doing Lunges in Mikes beard, the camera just didn't pick it up haha
  8. If your on orange with your phone, ring them and ask to add an iPad to your contract, no deposit or money down :-) Granted I'll pay more in the long run but If you want a 3G one, you need a contract anyway.
  9. The jammy gits in Florida, I bet he's had a good one!!
  10. I'd buy the best I could afford, usually works with most stuff!!
  11. Let the boss decide after you've worked!!
  12. Me and Mike nearly fell over laughing when we saw this!!
  13. Get some dismantling practice on your dodgy rope :-)
  14. I've heard Plippy plays the Skin flute!!
  15. 6 months climbing experience and your a lead climber? Good on you, most places look for at least a couple of years. £80 a day is far too cheap BUT your only as good as your work and to go free lance, IMO you have to be confident you can take down any tree in any situation (some exceptions to due to dead/disease etc) if you are and you can, charge accordingly mate and make sure you get paid what your worth.
  16. The only time I've heard of 16s being run, is on fully ported 020s in a America. 12 or 14 is fine
