  1. Tackled some willows over a swamp today.
  2. I guess to some potential customers it's important, the last 3 people who have rang me have asked first off If I charge to quote, I just assumed everyone thought it was free

    todays job

Especially on that massive bar, I hate sharpening owt over 20 inch
  4. I was referring to re newing tickets mate, you do need to get them in the first place but then they recommend refreshing every 5 years, which IMO is a crock
  5. Because some would start charging to quote etc, then others wouldn't and make a BIG deal of not doing, then the ones who give free quotes, would get more calls.
  6. Yes mate,9010, never used one tho
  7. I'm going to buy a 7901 after I get married Matt, my mrs would have my balls off If I bought one before it tho haha
  8. It's all recommendation mate, there is no Law to say you should or shouldn't, just advise/recommendations from the powers that be. I'm of the opinion that I use saws everyday and fell most days, job dependant, If I thought for a second I needed a refresher, I'd be booking one.

    todays job

    I was joking
  10. If your unsure (coz it's a makita) do a search for it on here, plenty of old threads about them and if you don't fancy one, give a 365 a bash.
  11. Beer by all means but true blood pal??? Come on

    todays job

Thats got at least a grand written all over it. Maybe more in the flesh.
  13. Out of my 365 and a makita 7901, running a 24 inch bar, I'd go for the 79cc makita. The 365 as I've said, is a really god saw tho.
  14. I've had 2 365s, great saws, really good, they cut well but don't expect the speed of an XP husky, never had a 24 on mine, although they cut very well with a 20 on, so I should think they would still be ok with a 24.
  15. Get a few beers and put your feet up Hodge, crap but it happens mate. Tomorrows another day and you might get some decent calls come in
  16. Not for £500
  17. Makita 7901, best saw for that budget, 79cc, will run 24 inch nicely and you can pick em up for under £500 brand new.
  18. It's not even a tricky fell
  19. Wonder if it's an Apple thing??
  20. Crazy
  21. The pics upside down on my screen mate??
  22. I'm more impressed your upside down David
  23. Was the chipper left on site over night??
  24. Saw this one today, hope he won't mind me posting it on his behalf, it's awesome
