  1. Quoted £325 for a job amonth ago, last week the guy rang me up to tell me that he had had it done for £60!

  3. Thanks Monkey D, I had read in the post that OPM was slow to spread and thought that they cant be that slow if they have got to Sheffield! Didn't realise that this new out break was from imported trees.
  4. A bit off topic but relevent to the OPM paragraph, A consultant that I spoke to on Tuesday mentioned that the moth had spread to Sheffield, Is this true?

  11. Im sat doing my quotes an a friends laptop that he has let me borrow and im pulling my hear out trying to use office 2007. Please could someone tell me how to find the spell checker.

  13. It says that they can be fined up to £20000 in court but am I right in saying that if there is monatary gains to be made for instance on a building site they can be fined up to the value of the property?
  14. Not used maniller rope for years, used to splice an eye on each end and use it as tool strops.

  17. The video used to have the thunderbirds theme tune to it when I watched it in 97 and if I remember rightly the house was in a remote location and a crane couldnt get down the lanes. The home owners ins company paid and arranged with the RAF to use this job as training. I cant remember what the total cost was.
  18. I might get shot down here but the age of the house is not that old so proberly built to morden building regs so the foundations should be deep and damage less likely to occure. You wont have any problems with subsidance. You could dig some pits and inspect.
  19. Since christmas, it was a presant from my folks for christmas and my 30th. I just use it on the auto setting or sometimes when I take pics of the dogs put it on to kids pets. Its just such a wast that I cant use the functions correctly. Im not sure about about poloshing the scratch out, i think it could make things worse, as the light hits the lens it cold be distorted. I looked up canon and you can send it of for the lens to be replaced but I dont know the cost.

  24. If you knakker the heads, weld a nut onto the head and undo with a socket.
