    Large Poplar

Nice video, and very skilled climber! What kind of money was put on that job?
  2. When i was picking up some of the pannels from the powder coaters this car turned up, what do you think it is sorry no prize if your right.
  3. Rotor housing. engine on. New muffler manifold gaskets and some studs.
  4. Just started putting my chipper back together. I was lost without it!!! The chassis comes in three peices. IMG]http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/cc20/arbortree/19012005297.jpg[/img] New hitch.
  5. Good luck mate, hope you get your money! People come up with all sorts of bull it just aint funny.
  6. Why wont they pay? If its just that they are stitching you up and all work done is properly, garden tidy and nothing broken then id be going around there with a mate. Its not funny not being paid as weve all got bills to pay and you have kept to your quote/word by turning up doing the work and having to pay your ground staff. Happend to me before the bloke s**t him self and got me the cash.
  7. Quite often customers ask if id cut an old stump down "cos it will only take a few seconds with your saw" I bet im not the only one on hear thats herd that one! or the odd dead branch, things that they never ask for when your there doing the quote. Up unitll now ive never charged for doing this as by not doing it or saying that you want more money when they obviosly want it done for free could lead to bad relation no recomendations etc so Id decided a few weeks ago that id charge them a small amount and that would go to charity poss the one chosen on hear, what do you think.
  8. When I ordered some parts off Graham at Orange Plant he told me that someone had painted there TW chipper pink!! as it was less likeley to be nicked and it woulp be easier for the police to pick it out if seen on the road.
  9. Sorry a bit off topic hear but i looked at buying this harness in Honey Brothers, light and comfortable but just a bit paranoid about the bolts coming undone and the buckles seem very easy to undo. Am i just being stupid, whats your thoughts about this harness-still crippling my back in a T22!!
  10. Thank's steve, very good site and very informative.
  11. DILLIGAF!! Do i look like I give a Fu*k.
  12. Absalute sh*t I had to remove a climber from the side of the house which had a tv cable under it. Was being verry care full tugging it off very carefully the cable came down. Looked at the end and it was just the connecter come apart, the type you have behind your tv. Spoke to a tv arial guy and he said there's no way that the connecter should of been used! any way ive got to pay £50 to get it connected + the £20 i paid to hire a roof ladder but when i got it up there was no way i was getting up there. And they never even offered us a cup of tea!!!!!
  13. Thanks for the advice, i spoke to the powder coating guy and baisicly i have the choice of the colours he has in stock which would be cheeper or he orders more in and i pay more. It doesn't help that im colour blind either!!! I just want it to look good. Yorkshire man your sign writeing is verry good straight to the point. do you have an idear of how much work gets pulled in just buy people takeing your number down. Also when your chipping do you put greedy boards up so the chip doesn't go every where or just chip on the back? Whats a conehead ? ive not heard of that before. This is my truck.
  14. I coming to the dear of green as i didn't really like the yellow when they were first made, i juess thats why entec changed the name and colour. I wish i had taken some pics before but once ite finnished ill post some.
  15. At the moment the trucks not written up as the money's now been spent on the chipper. Im affraid the truck looks pikey with no writing on its a white transit crewcab and the back is ali. my logos green with a leaf in it. I reckon the yellow is better because it stands out esp if working on the highway but my girlfreind is set on it being green..... Bloody women!!! Im going to get the cab wrapped with some design but not sure yet. Just wondered what you guys thort about colour before i spend the cash, thanks.
  16. Hi guys i have a chippit 30 DH which kept cutting out the other day, sorted the problem that night just the ignition wires rubbing on the belts. whilst panels were off we looked over the rest of the chipper and found that the fans on the back of the fly wheel were rubbing on the back plate. Completely stripped the chipper, chassis grit blasted and galvanised, new bearings, rotor nose and new boss welded in. Ok its an old chipper is old but there was no labour costs only parts so now i will have a fully referb chipper that doesn't owe me a thing. but the thing i want your opinion on is the colour should i have it powder coated in the original yellow or a green what do ya think. Also I found graham at Orange plant and Richard court engineering very helpful.
