  1. How much do they want for it?
  2. That would look prity cool, where do you get them from?
  3. Hope every one had a great christmas day and wish you all a safe 2008.
  4. Tocmal, Hears the gang! They are good to take they are a huge talking point, esp when quoting as the client normally spends more time stroking them/talking about then so nearly all ways get the job also when repeat clients ring to rebook they always ask if I'm bringing the dogs. Hard hats thats funny, i should get them some company doggie t shirts made. Tried making the pic smaller but didn't work soz!
  5. Just turned over and found this on brittish euro sports, anybody watching?
  6. Thanks for resizing the image ill try and work out how to do that later! The seats are still in as the dogs/other people sit on them but i do put saws bags etc on the floor etween the seats. I have seen a replacement seat advertised somewhere that has a lockable cabanet underneath that you accsess by lifting up the bottom of the seat. Chip box - the ali pannels ar tounge and grove and are 200mm deep so in the new year im going to make the sides higher bu 1 or 2 of these pannels. Even tho the chip box isn't as big as it could be when its fully loaded its going to be over its weight limit. I did once have it on a weigh bridge at just over 5 ton. I am also going to to fit barn doors on the back and make a ladder rack. I have contacted brown church who make the galv type of landrover roof racks but the more you put on the less load you can carry. And most inportantly of all get it sign written!!!! The overhang at the back isnt a problem just a standard crewcab chassie not a extended frame. The chip box is bigger than it looks.
  7. Thes main reason I got the transit is because i have to take my 4 dogs with me most of the time and when i baught it the cabster was only a single cab. I have herd that people have had problems tith the transit but i guess i have been lucky! The only 2 issues i have is the low fule econamy and stopping when loaded up. The guy who told me about the canter is a mechanic who works for a are crane plant company.
  8. I managed it but it was a pain in the arse and I WONT be doing it again.
  9. My Transit is fine and I've never had a problem with it. I baught it as a import but all UK spec and quite a bit cheeper than direct from ford. I have been told by a few people that the Mitsubishi Canter was not much cop tho!
  10. I hired in a mewp the other week to reduce a large conifer hedge, It was a compleat wast of money I wish I had climbed it but i guess you have to learn from your mistakes. I think they still have a use in tree surgery though.
  11. Do you guys that have a mill sell the planks or do you use it as a hobby, I've thought of buying one to plank stems up and then try to sell on but is it any more time consuming than just logging up. The other problem I thort of is drying the timber, do you stack yourselves or pay to have it kiln dried.
  12. I have the light weight lowering kit that honey bothers put together. Consists of whoopie sling, flying capstan, rope, a couple of steel carabiners, 2x large slings, large split tail, heavy duty pulley and a bag. I remember how much it was but it was under £500.
  13. I've been paying £20 a set to have my entec knives sharpened at rip off lister wilder, was thinking about buying that machine off saturn and ringing some local companies up to do theres to cover the cost.
  14. I travel with the combi cans in a gorilla tub in the hopper of the chipper. Keeps the fumes out!!
  15. How much much was the clamp telho, just looked at the lincmaster web site and i cant see any prices.
  16. Is any one going to stay up and watch the fight, Its going to be a good fight and i hope hatton knocks **** out of him.

  23. I had a aussie work for me once and he had a stainless steel ring that was made to take bottle tops off. I told him all morning to take the thing off but h didnt. Mid morning whilst loading the truck up he jumped off the back of the the truck and swang on the greedy boards any way the ring caught and he wasn't tall enuf for his feet to touch the ground and de gloved his fingure to just below his knuckle. he nearley needed plastic surgery.
  24. I can't seem to find any water proofs that are comfortable to wear all day with out falling to bits or making you sweat like a pig. What do you guys wear when climbing or on the ground, wher did you buy them from and how much?
