    i brought it off a bloke who had it for 2 years. i used in for a few months then it started playing up.

    ive had a new carb, its been serviced and tuned and it stiill doesnt run right. it loses power and lets out a bit of smoke. should i stop spending money on this stihl ms200t and use it for spares or has anyone got any other suggestions?

    ive stopped using veggie oil as chains on my top handle started snapping. gone back to stihl oil and no chains have snapped since. veggie oil has rocketed in price, its a false economy imo.

    i would only buy stihl top handles unless everyone starting using another make and raving about them.

    alot of 200's have dodgy carbs, if you've got one you might get it fixed on the stihl warranty, regardless of date of purchase but dont quote me.

    workout what you are happy to earn in a day, calculate time it will take and go from there. if its tricky charge more.

    its harder to get the parts for husky around here,take that into account. ive owned a ms260, good little saw.

    kickback can happen to anyone. one of the problems is you can get all your tickets without any experience of using a chainsaw on the ground.

    thats what i have been told, i know the name of the company but im not going to post it.there was no second climber to rescue the poor lad by the sounds of it, but dont quote me.
