  5. pigeons nest all year round almost, it sucks.

    Full Chisel?

    full chisel on my nisel
  9. i use a blakes and sometimes a vt with hitchclimber. i always use my wirecore flipline as i find it doesnt wrap around branches as easy as a rope lanyard.
  10. ive been there also with same setup, hilux with entec, shovelling it out, never again. the bloke who said to u about having a smaller chipper as you can use the bigger logs for firewood is talking crap. so when yo have felled a big conifer and have a mountain of green non burning conifer branches to chip up are you going to think to yourself hmm im glad ive got this pissy 4" chipper.
  11. welcome back mate, look forward to the pics.
  12. really, i like to keep my ear drums intact. isnt demantling a tree safer then felling it and then having to deal with lots of branches under tension?
  13. i went to london zoo last year, it was depressing. the natural history and tate are worth a visit.
  14. ive spent alot of time in scotland and there is no doubt that as far has landscapes go you can not beat the isle of sky or the outer heb.
  15. this sounds like a good knot, cant get any info on it, can you get some pics.
  16. do you pour the oil striaght in? ive thought about it but never done it.
  17. the best city is england is brighton imo, but its better in the summer. london is a good idea as there is so much to do but like u say there are too many people. you could visit kew gardens tho. or theres york, near by and very nice.
  18. i always use the trucker knot for tying down a load, but ive never thought about it for pulling stems over.

borrowed a mates 66 the other day. it hadnt been used for a while, started it up and after a while the engine started to make a miss firing noise. like loud pops? anyone know whats going on? it had plenty of power when is wasnt making that noise but it didnt tick over for very long.

    is it me?

figured it out, windows media player has a process that uses all ur memory. this is if you are sharing media files with xbox 360.
  22. MEWP's cant replace climbing by rope and harness, due to cost and access. at the end of the day some jobs are more dangerous then others and if it was that dangerous to use as saw one hand who come we are all doing it on a daily basis and are still here to talk about it. i heard the reason for the "no one handed" was because it used to be marketed as a one handed chainsaw and all the knobs started having accidents. using a saw at face height or above is more dangerous then using one handed.
  23. gomataro, i dont like a long silky blade personnal. if its too big for my gomataro then i use my saw. i think that its better to keep it simple and not have some samurai sword flapping around.
