when does a reduction turn into a tree being topped? ive done a few reductions that i havent been proud of. ive always cut back to growth points but have taken off a good wack of the crown. this has sometimes been at the request of council tree officers.

ive just got a 341 off jonsie for a good price. whats this mod all about? ive got 200t and a 341. id like to add a 46,66,88 to that list at some point. im sticking with stihl.
