  1. I have the Stihl 160 and really like it. Sits in the wagon ready for instant use, battery still good in it's third year now. Won't replace a petrol saw but has it's niche.
  2. I'm just wondering how many Refresher courses the top people at Carillion did last year?
  3. Reminds me of a time when I rang a dealer for Kubota parts on a Saturday. Someone picked up the phone and said "we're closed".
  4. From experience, it's all just to cumbersome and dangerous up a ladder . Far better and safer to use it from a platform eg a Henchman or from the ground
  5. Ditto all above. We need more biodiversity.
  6. The B6000 is one of the oldest and has an opposite direction pto.
  7. History in the making, keep up the good work!
  8. Pfanner Gladiators, so good I bought another pair, (after a few years of saving up). Price was same everywhere.

  11. What happens to the dredged silt out of interest?
  12. I gave up trying to find 10w30 for my Kubota engines. The dealer said that they always use 15w40 even though it wasn't in the handbook.
  13. Get yourself down to Endicotts in Exeter and get an ex army large rucsac, well made and cheap.
  14. Would be well used, go for it!
  15. That's the handlebar bolt, that's ok, its where it enters into the plastic body below. I've just googled 97990030410 and that is a helicoil which would sort it thanks.
  16. Has anyone got a simple fix for replacing a stripped thread in the plastic on a stihl Brushcutter where the handlebar bolt locates?
  17. Just small amount of coppice unfortunately. I am going to use the stakes for my own fencing.
  18. That's been my experience with softwood posts lasting about 5 years.
  19. Is 3-4" sweet chestnut coppice any good for fencing, would it outlast so called "treated" stakes if you debarked it?
  20. When you press the button the 2 inner pins change to 1.13v The "button" is to check the charge condition of the battery.
