  2. I make it 41v on the outside pins and 0v on the 2 inside pins on a fully charged battery.
  3. Just leave enough petrol to cover the pick up and then fill up with fresh fuel next time you use it. Always worked for me.

  5. The cans should fit a standard ammo pouch from an ex army shop then mount it on a belt. That's what I use.
  6. I'm looking for the lightest chainsaw boot available so I can wear them all the time for other jobs as well, not sure that boot exists yet...
  7. I have a B2400 and had a puncture just took wheel off and took it into local ATS to patch. Filled it with a couple of litres of "green slime" after that.
  8. I used to have a 40" Stihl but they reduced it to meet anti vibs specs as far as I know.
  9. Black and white stripes were for the D Day Landings, to make allies more recognisable I think.

  11. I was chatting to a Call out Linesman Engineer from a well known Power Distribution Company recently and he said the only way for him to contact BT was via India like everybody else, very frustrating when BT share their poles.

  14. I don't think there is a "standard" for sizing and every manufacturer differs slightly.

  18. I used a 1m extension pole on the Stihl Combi hedgetrimmer and it did my back in, just not worth it, find other ways. I also fitted the hedgecutter part to the extending pole saw as an experiment but it's just to heavy and cumbersome.
  19. Look at it another way and you can suggest the hedge is too high and get paid to reduce it.
  20. I thought I remember reading that putting even more % ethanol in was being delayed due to concerns for older cars.
