  2. wish it was closer i would love that:thumbup: my windowsills are spalted beech i cut down my kitchen floor is oak i cut down skirting boards are oak and beech i cut down next week my elm dining table and matching coffee table is coming and guess what I cut it down

  5. is this part of a 3 yr course if so how much have you been getting paid per day for the rest of the course we have had students not worth giving a pair of gloves never mind paying and tbh are reluctant to give others ago if you worked for me and earned me good money i would pay a bit more but really depends on employer i would be more worried tbh about how much the guy i was working for could teach me rather than pay me at the end of the day it,s 6 weeks work and could lead to a lot more:thumbup:

  14. might find your on sticky ground if using the morten or an unrated mallion type thing saw strop comes under loler saving a couple of quid to hang a £400 saw on seems tight and just think what you would think if someone dropped a saw on your head as a cheap crap clip:confused1: was going to say been able to take strop off so you can do maintenance dont forget to turn the saw off before doing it:blushing:

  18. £35 here get rid of it straight from job no double handling no hassle getting rid no hassle storing no hassle splitting winner all round and if it was the tree owner wanting the logs would you charge extra so all £35 is for fuel ect makes sense to me all i want is plenty sites to get rid so little travel and can do job cheaper and an easy life

  21. those could of been done with a rigging plate just as well though apart from the initial dmm ones i liked them and thought of uses but for me none that i could not do with my rigging plate if i had neither and wanted one i think i would go hub mainly for the rounded corners for tying rope onto
