  2. looks like a tinny wolf engine to me
  3. I know it,s time and money but not much more do your 39 as well as your lots more employable just my opinion
  4. does not matter what it weighs it,s what it,s plated at we have a 3.5t trailer for back of landy and cant pull it with ldv even empty as LDV limit is 2t does not matter what weight is in ldv i may be wrong but thats what we been told by folk that know
  5. looks impressive do you think it will revolutionise the chainsaw chain market? Are there plans to do it in regular 3/8 and 325 good post keep us informed
  6. No its not that one is still in use:confused1: had a guy in it the other week who loved it and when we talked about suitable equipment choice i was undecided whether or not to fail him:biggrin:
  7. Willans Harness Manufacturing Ltd. - About Us fills you in a bit:thumbup:
  8. agreed but where will it tell him it,s 325 or what guage it is and why does it need to say 25 on the depth guage or what 21 it is ie bp bpx lpx stihl is not any better all you really get is what guage and thats where oregon mark the chain type so no wonder it,s confusing i just think it could be easier and simpler all round i for one would like any info you have although i have the nice little oregon book which is very good:thumbup:
  9. chains are often confusing the 25 is probably on the depth guage so only means depth guage setting if it,s oregon it usually says the chain type on the drive link which i would guess as the 21 number ie 21bp or similar will be .325 but 346 run either 1.5or 1.3 guage so either find the info off the bar or take to a shop hope that helps i honestly think chain manufactures could make it loads easier ie they put there brand name on every other link but been able to identify which type of cutter or guage or pitch is awkward
  10. I know this as a GQ harness anyone have any info
  11. i got one when i first started out but never got along with it. then found it again last year and i tried it and tbh now i know what why and when i found it to be a remarkable and very clever simple and easy to use . But to get the most out of it you really need to know what your doing so i sold it:001_tt2:

    Cheap chains!

is it cheap or expensive rubbish i personally will only buy chain by a few brands sandvick stihl oregon had too much stretch issues and blunting as chain too soft or breaking so will only use quality now and as it lasts longer i think it,s cheaper and safer

  24. i have seen this at a show and was really impressed and liked it a lot shame i never got a go with one. I think i would like to try one or hear from folk that have been giving it a fair trial. If it was a lot better than a bag i may be tempted but i do think the price is the issue from having seen it and the concept i would agree it looks better than a bag and i can see where you have come from how long have they been in production and have any been sent to england yet
  25. Cheers Steve Interesting we do use them and tbh have liked them will you keep an eye out for further info on this
