  1. as some will know I work for LA and we have a landrover and 3.5t trailer and a 17tonner towing a 2.25t chipper we have people that know the law and what is required and we dont have a tacko in landy and dont use the one in wagon under some exemption. I do not know exactly what but it is linked to the distance or hours as when it was looked into we had to fill mileage/driver times sheets out which we did for 4 months and they have been kept as proof of either hours or mileage Also fuel records will show how many miles between fill ups Not sure this helps but thought i would share.

  12. i would totally agree with the above learn the assessment schedule by been asked the questions on the left of the page dont get hung up or terminology even make the assessor aware but dont use it as an excuse as long as you get info across you will be ok and practical side will just flow take your time keep as chilled as possible
  13. if i was put to task i would say too tight if its splayed it,s too tight if it was grease related why would it spread like that if it had not been turned why would it spread too tight or something got caught in the sprocket or chain got damaged but those are ending up making the chain tight just my opinion
  14. different centres and instructors will recommend different numbers 2 is usually ok but imo 3 is the best number just in case you need to double up
  15. i use and love the positioner though i took the connector off and swapped it for a dmm quickdraw connector with the rubber insert which works spot on and gives a cuttable lik
  16. we have that reinforced polycarbonate sheet and ali same as bus stops lighter than ali so the bodybuilders told us anyhow

  21. who are you planning to assess for all assessments are booked through an assessment centre so contact the one you plan on assessing for and see what they think

  23. same as i have a few different savers which need a different size ie art one but they will sell i have a couple of the old ali ones
  24. get a lathe and be sad enough to make your own yew are my favourite will do some for next years raffle
