  1. Slave, master or fulcrum. Dark oil is the seals have been chewed, if it is at the top, then it might be master cylinder, short term answer is to bleed the system getting fresh clean oil at the bottom and look for a leak in the bottom of the bell housing. Good luck, it's simple mechano really.
  2. How do you turn a fox into an elephant? Marry it! Why is the space between a womans breasts and hips called a waist? Because you could easily fit another pair of tits there! Why do women fake orgasms? Because they think men care! Why do men pass more gas than women? Because women can't shut up long enough to build up th required pressure! Women will never be equal to men....... until they can walk down the street with a beer gut and a bald head and still think they are sexy!
  3. mill it, stack, air dry it and it'll make some really sturdy furniture like kitchen "farm" tables etc. Twill be durable and weather resistant if used for outdoor use as well. Make good use of it! I had planked a Lebanese Cedar years ago, promising to get a large kitchen table made from it (although Leb Ced is soft) the year it was ready and I had a big enough house, some kind person set fire to the lot!
  4. Marzipan - yuck, hate the stuff. We just used to plonk ours on the pile. It got used for outdoor menages and all kinds and to my knowledge, nowt died from it. Most animals are alright with chips inc yew, they have to eat a fair pile of it for to give them the gripes. Goats etc aren't effected by much!
  5. I'll try and sell a chipper to Andy Collins, but for now SWB will do! That ended in 40+ pages!
  6. A mate got his wife a new car on the 0% credit card trick whilst she wasn't earning but needed transport. It worked for him okay, he paid off as much as he could every month and swapped the balance to another card when the deal expired. A small hassle but he got the car, paid for it in 3 years with no interest on the borrowing. Plus his credit rating went up because he cleared a portion off of the balance every month.
  7. Brilliant, I love that style of gag!
  8. Sold a wee micro chipper to a scots fella who said he was Shreks younger sibling!?!
  9. Sounds electrical to me, might be that the switch is not latching in the "On" position. Sell it and look at the "Quad Chip" I'm with it at Queensferry tomorrow.
  10. I cannot imagine that the Razorback conversion carrys too much and don't forget that it is front wheel drive to boot. The client who stuffed his 1928 SafeTracs in his panel vans had some fancy alarm/immobiliser/tracker/self destruct button! He never lost one!
  11. The Eco Chip 150MT25D with its air cooled 3 pot diesel is a tad over 750kgs, but it ain't 920kgs! That was the bigger version with the water cooled 3 pot Isuzu diesel.
  12. We have aclient who puts his GreenMech 1928 SafeTracs in panel vans. He had to make slight alterations to the wheelarches but the fitted well and were totally secure whilst eft out overnight.
  13. What kind of Arbwork are you into? Do need to go off-road, do you need to carry big loads, how many people dogs etc, kit storage, is parking okay etc. Consider what you want a truck to do and what your budget will get and go forwardfrom there. Simples
  14. I loved the fact that he wore earmuffs and ballistic joggers with a natty line in wind proof polyester jumper that was fashionable in Doncaster market circa 1984. As usual, it showed the tremendous capacity of a tree feller to get the job done, despite having a bar that is too short but the sheer perseverance of the desparate shone thro!
  15. A newly wedded couple walk upto the Hotel reception asking for the bridal suite. "Any reservations?" asked the girl behind the counter. The bride replied, "I'm not sure about anal sex"
  16. Walked through the cemetary this morning, I passed this man crouching behind a headstone. "Morning" I said, he replied "No, I'm having a dump"!
  17. Oh, why join the forces if you are not prepared to put yourself in harms way for your country in times of need. That, I believe, is why you will be asked to swear an oath of allegance to your employer, The Queen, and sign the Official Secrets Act. Defence of the realm is not game or a soft option before a pension. Best wishes with your choice.
  18. Sodexho and Enterprise (I beleive) are the main ones although Landmarc do look after the training establishments but they are government funded as part of the MOD. (so they told me when I delivered their last GreenMech woodchipper to Aldershot). I have also seen Nature First of Gloucester on an airbase in the Cotswolds. No doubt in some cases other firms will be authorised to do "local" works because of their skill base, qualifications and equipement. ISS Waterers still run some GM contracts as do Glendales. Would the REME or Sappers run chainsaw training as part of their remit? I know that some Bomb Disposal have certified chainsaw people for site clearance as well as some GreenMech woodchippers.

    Whoops

Looked like he knew what he was doing by the size of the gop horizontal cut. Total buffoon! Like that web site by the way - good find.
  20. Have a good un Stevie, and many happy returns!
  21. I really like Marmite and Lettuce dipped in Minestrone cup a soup! Another fave is Beef Dripping and Lettuce or peanut butter and thick slices of Cucumber.
  22. We now handle the import of the American made stand on skid steer from Boxer. Nice peice of kit which if the pockets allow is really versatile. I used it to pick up a pile of six railway sleepers with the log grab and put them on our HGV. Really impressed with that lift!
