  1. "Where abouts in Australia are you from?" "Just south of London." "Oh, I didn't know there was a London in Australia too......"
  2. Great tune from a great album Pete...
  3. I'll be very interested to see how it goes, as those are the two discs that I smashed. Did the lidocaine/cortizone shots last year and dropped 2 stone and so far so good. But, I'm just waiting for a 'flare up'. All the best with the surgery mate. I'll certainly listen to any words of wisdom you may have post op. Are you 6' plus? L4 and L5 seem to take a major beating when you're tall!
  4. Pete, you da man! Thanks mate. One of the boys over at TH was enquiring. Looks like it's it anyway.
  5. Oh, I should say that I have no recollection where I bought that particular one from (maybe Honey Bros.) but I do know that I bought it at least 18 years ago. Any offers?
  6. Can any of you guys find me some of these? Some of the locals are interested.....
  7. Which discs, L4 and L5?
  8. Thanks Lee. The places mentioned on that site, Jones Inlet and Freeport are where we go out from. More stripers in the water around there than you can shake a stick at!
  9. Caught it on a baited hook.....those stripers just lurve clams!
  10. I'd be up for it if I wasn't so far away, do love a bit of bass fishing. Landed this baby last time we went out. A 28" striped bass. Get pics of anything you catch Lee, I'd be more than interested to see....
  11. Cycling, kayaking and sea fishing. A 3ft blue fish puts up one hell of a fight! Oh, and sparring with my krav maga instructor.
  12. 102 here today.....
  13. Don't you mean 'It ain't half hot mum'?
  14. That stripey in the 3rd pic was one of my catches, came in at 28". Tasted great on the BBQ later......
  15. So finally managed to skive off yesterday afternoon and get in some sea fishing with a landscaper mate of mine. Drifting just off Jones Beach we started with some skates, then some robin fish and just as we were about to try a different spot.....the striped bass (our intented catch) started biting. Great afternoon, I got sunburn on my forehead and we BBQd the stripey steaks later that evening.
  16. Put a high price on it.....
  17. Here, there and everywhere! Client's front yards, stables, playgrounds and as a last resort the dump.
  18. Nice collection!
  19. Proper 'munchies' food....
  20. Gets me in loads of trouble over here Chief!
  21. I think he looks a bit like Ozzy Osborne. Was he wearing his lederhosen and boots? Very interesting bloke though.
  22. 22 years of arb, forestry, gamekeeping, and woodland management......climbed for nigh on 16 years in 5 different countries.
