  8. If you've never been, you gotta come over and check it out. NYC truly is larger than life. The City still trips me out, and I lived there for almost 5 years. The city that never sleeps......Plenty to do in 3-4 days. I might even jump on a train and come in and find ya.....or you could jump on a train and come out and find me. I'm about 30 mins out of NYC and 10 mins away from some puka beaches. In the City you have the Empire State, Statue of Liberty, Central Park carriage ride......and food from all over the world.
  9. NYC. What with the strong Pound. You can probably pick up a cheap flight if you shop around too. Central Park in Spring? Tres cool....
  10. You and me both mate! Great food when you're pissed drunk. Ordering in ribs here in a while. The local rib place, 'Adam's Rib' does the best ribs ever, even better than any place I found in NYC when I lived in the city. Their fried chicken ain't too shabby either. Chuck in some salad and a pint of BBQ beans and Bob's yer aunty's live in lover! All I need is a couple of cold cans of Special Brew.....
  11. Me too.....and Latin of course.
  12. What the lady said......
  13. I only employ legal immigrants ie. has a social security number. Too much aggro otherwise. Let's face it, I'm an immigrant here too...."Hasta le uego" means "see you later"......but you know that I'm sure.
  14. A good friend of mine, Trip (a member on here) worked for a Mr. Wanker a while back. I kid you not! Some of the Yanks do have some strange names. And I met a Mrs. Peach yesterday, who was originally from Keswick.
  15. Cut mine off totally mashed one afternoon in Penrith in '96.......then went in The Board & Elbow and cried in my Stella. Dreads caught in prussiks? Sounds familiar...
  16. .......
  17. Makes perfect sense to me! Either pull your weight or (as they say 'round here), "Hasta la uego."
  18. Local 'birds' round at a mate's house further out on Long Island. The big male 'gobblers' are really lairy.
  19. Cute lookin' little girl! Tell me about the finger wrapping thing...
  20. Always count on a Yorkshireman to get his arse out when the sun comes out.....
  21. A few from when we were over in Northern California and Oregon. I will live there at some point in my life!
  22. Bloody great big red eared terrapin on the river in my back yard...
  23. Cool Harris, here's the bad boy I used to fly/hunt with. Incredible feeling getting in sync with a raptor.
