  1. Hear hear!!
  2. In my humble opinion, it's better to have a gun and not need it, rather than to need a gun and not have it. Just my 2 cents, or pence... You are awakened one night to hear voices in your house and realise that a person or persons has gained entry to your house. What do you reach for? Pump action or phone? I KNOW what I would rather have in my hand in that situation.
  3. Or you could just move over here.....One thing I love about the US.........you can apply for any firearm you want without being treated like some sort of social outcast. I have my whole family staying at the moment and it still freaks my old man out, as to how heavily armed I am! Great pics Steve, looks like you been bitten by the shootin' bug........ya redneck!!
  4. Sh*t loads of Special Brew please Santa. And make sure it's cold will ya!!
  5. Here's 2 that I have and find useful; 'Diseases of trees and shrubs' by Sinclair & Lyon and 'Fungal strategies of wood decay in trees' by Schwarze, Engels & Mattheck. Hope this helps.....
  6. That Ailanthus looks nasty Carl....And working by car headlights is always a joy.
  7. Nicely done Carl...

  9. Oh bugger.....
  10. Are you watching me Carl?
  11. I bought my Swanndri gear back in Blighty before I moved over here Leon. If I need anymore I get my mum to send it or bring it when they come over.
  12. You know that!! All Brew donations are gratefully and graciously accepted. The more Brew you donate, the longer you are welcome to stay if any of you get over to NYC!
  13. Help yourself mate.
  14. Install a support cable?
  15. http://www.swanndri.co.nz I've been wearing Swanndri most of my working life...
  16. Tell her it's none of her business!! Is she on payroll? Does she pay your wages? Nuf said.
  17. 7 days a week (sorry, make that 8). If you want a successful arb business.....you gotta put in the time, that's all there is to it. You start by running the business.........and then you realize that the business is in fact running YOU. I get drunk.....and think about what I should be doing for my business, I get stoned......and think about what I should be doing for my business, I bang my Mrs.....well, you get the picture. (NO, not that picture!) BUT....would I change it? Would I f*ck!!!! And anyway, I'm not too good at taking sh*t from other people, ie. a boss.
  18. You engineers....
  19. Smoooth, great job. Looks like a real good crew you got there.
  20. .....and I get out plenty thanks Lee!!
  21. LOADS of tulips round here and BIG too.
  22. One of mine....
  23. Buggering off and hoping the Mrs will fix things isn't really a good move....
  24. Tread carefully with farmers and trees Andy, pretty much every one I've ever met seemed to think that TPOs and blanket conservation areas didn't apply to them. There was a case a number of years ago where a particularly cantankerous old farmer was jailed for repeatedly ignoring TPOs and taking down trees on his farm.
