  11. Bike's a bike isn't it? I thought they all went round bends pretty much the same. And my Yank truck does bends quite well also thankyou.
  12. Can't really go wrong with one of these.... I'm 6'3" and over 200lbs and have given the bike a fair bit of abuse, now I normally just ride along the board walk or on the beach. IMO 'Specialized' does make a good bike.
  13. The cambistat was applied at a reduced rate, so it won't retard canopy growth....it will redirect the trees energy to different 'departments' within the tree. A more fiberous root system, better drought stress resistance etc.
  14. We combined the cambistat app with a 'rhizo fuel' and 'root grow' app too.
  15. Agreed! Some muppet gave the client a price of $1200 to take the tree down, while my take down price would have been nearer $1900. However, after some arm twisting and me going on at him not to take it down we persuaded him to keep it. The price for the all the 'tree preservation' work came to over $2000. I'm happy, client is happy and the tree is too.....And my phone has rang twice this morning from neighbours seeing my crew and truck 'saving' this great looking tree.
  16. Thanks man. The spray/fert rig belongs to my mate, who is doing the airspade work for me. His company, 'Tree Health Management' and my company have joined forces to provide a complete arb service. Thoroughly satisfying to save this tree with all the kit we have to hand. Had to take a pic of my chipper infeed, so you lot can see what a proper one looks like!!
  17. Just do it....
  18. That would be Luis, my lairy little Guatemalan climber, and yes, I'm sure he'd take it home and sleep with that saw if I let him!
  19. Went a bit crazy with the camera....
  20. Finally remembered my camera. The client wanted to remove this tree, but we talked him out of it. Instead he went for some air spade excavation, root pruning, canopy work and a cambistat application. Got all the toys out today. Knocked over some Thujas too, grinding the stumps out later....
  21. Wicked!!
  22. 'Loitering with intent' would that be Pete?
