  2. 341! I know you aint the 357 no 1 fan steve isnt the 341 the craper version of the 361 with a different ignition modual and head but same bottom end.used one of those as well, seemed a strong saw that would go on forever but it certainly dont rev like a 357 atleast the 361 does!
  3. nothin really between the two......... used both in the woods side by side and think stihls power claims are a bit ambitious but then the husky i was using had a shorter bar and i had sharpened it!..each to your own i prefere the 357...a lot of people dont!
  4. no wood was solid....well dead/alive like you get on chesnut that far infected........spose it should be taken out and burnt really!
  5. done a couple now this one was in a more public area ......could see people looking at it in a WTF manner and shaking there heads!.....oh well ,and the tree has a tpo so im not to sure what the tree officer is going to say...had shead the middle back limb already and the rest had big spiral patches of dead like phytophera riddled chesnut does.any way thought it would be a nice tree to try on [/img]
  6. a chain breaker and rivet spinner....it a piece of piss but a reel of chain is gonna cost 300 and breaker and rivet spinner around 100-200? alright if you got about 20 saws and more than 4 blokes working for you but you would save money in the long run atleast a third i believe....
  7. ....i aint evan lit the fire yet this year so i aint suppprised!.........it dont work for me unless its real dry, when its been real cold and my house has no heating it hasnt been as good as i thought wood that dead or dense should be........very dry yew ive found burns like plutonium fuel rods though!
