  1. I have not been charged for the last 4 or so orders I've put through but I have been charged in the past.
  2. They definitely did on the 560. I'm not sure on the 550.
  3. That is quite possible , the crank gasket was leaking chain oil under the exhaust and the front end of the saw when it was taken apart we noticed ,I tightened all the case bolts when I did the last rebuild and it does not appear to be leaking any more, I've not used it but the misses did 4 litres yesterday cross cutting and recons its fine.
  4. If you kept the tool accessary spares off a tree motion they are perfect !
  5. Or the tree kit neck lanyard , personally I found a neck tether far better for a RW and less restrictive although due to the weight of the devices like the hitch hiker and bulldog bone better off a Chest harness but every one is different and not going to like the same two things.
  6. Ha ha yeah I guess so , thinking about it we have had 7, two second gen ,three third and two fourth ...one of the third gen was an animal or some thing brought cheap and sold for what was payed but that was not a good truck ,far to thirsty but never had any serious grief with the single cabs, maybe the occasional clutch on high milage and worn out ones .. And they get worked hard hauling and towing. Had quite a few problems with early hi lux gear boxes so switched to the l200 and never looked back apart from one LR 90 that lasted 3 months.
  7. Have had 6 of them , can't fault them...

    Euro 2016

    Ha ha brilliant !
  9. Ours is an 92 6400 valmet , it's pretty frustrating being let down by intermittent electric problems, would rather have just a lever for the pto , the other switches don't seem to be a problem.
  10. I seem to remember a while back in the Forestry journal wilsons offering this conversion for valtra forestry tractors to simplify them , has any body tried this or have an idea of the cost or how easy it would be to get rid of electrics and convert to manual engagement.

It's pretty pants in comparison to the APTA launcher.. I modded one with a lead head of 12 or 14 0z with out any weight in the head it just ricochets all over the place and you can't get it down! With weight it's still clumsy! What sort of psi are you using in your launchers Ben and dmc ? And what height would be your average

I use an APTA occasionally but from my experience to get a 12oz throw bag high and accurate where you want you need around 170 -200 psi in the chamber.. 120 psi it just flops out the end at a bad trajectory 20ft if your lucky. 200 and you have an achor in the top of a 90ft pine no bother just make sure you have a 16oz bag on the other end of your throw line or you won't see it again.
  13. Lol Jenny ..... Seriously though??
  14. No joe but thanks 🙄
  15. These look like they have been added or enlarged to give more flow from the exhaust ? The outlet definitely has ! My misses saw definitely has a bit more poke to it , just a quickie for aspen fans this is a very new piston about 14 tanks of aspen , looks a lot of carbon build up to me.
  16. From memory the middle baffler that it hits coming straight from the exhaust has large holes punched in it but I'll try and get some pics when I'm in the workshop later.
  17. Good news ! Hopefully a new filter and reset will sort it , can try and get some pics up later of a modded 550 exhaust for you , it's pretty simple but crude , I don't run it on my personal 550 as I think it's fine standard as long as it's kept sharp.
  18. Also make sure the chain is spot on whilst doing this.
  19. Aye I'll do 3-5 mins with not taking finger off throttle flat out and buried in the wood... That will reset the 550 560 and 540 ... Not the 576 though , that needs to go in to the dealers to be reset.
  20. But definitely change the fuel filter first ....I had a 576 bog and miss behave until the filter was changed and saw reset and it's a lot easier to reset a 550.
  21. I have a 550 sat on my bench with a partial seizure and guess what it ran on aspen !! To think it offers 100% protection when I've also had a km130 drop a valve and wreck an engine on aspen it is not ever going to cure every engine malfunction .... In regards to the original post if the auto tune does not need resetting I would go with the partial seize... In which case sending it to spud and get it ported when he cleans it up and you won't look back
  22. Sorry laetiporous , Paul beat me to it !
