    Sorry to hear. I don't think it's safe to trim wet trees, I don't do it anymore. Only TD's, while wearing hooks. Even then, I don't like it.

    I think earplugs are a very personal, subjective thing - kinda like saddle preference. What works for one person might not work for another. The only plugs that work for me are the soft, white ones. None of the others work or fit right for me.

    I wish I could go back in time to start wearing earplugs from day one. I HATE the noises in my head!!! I see FOOLS operating chainsaws sans hearing protection all the time, and all I can do is shrug my shoulders. Eventually, they'll live to regret it. I know I do.

    I doubt it. I'm sure they had radio contact or a spotter/banksman directing.

    Yes, it WORKS. I take aspirin daily, so I bleed freely. I nicked myself with my handsaw and it stopped the bleeding toot sweet. I keep a couple packs in my first aid kit and highly recommend CELOX!

    The first two pics are my crushed foot, the middle two are Gerald Breanek's smushed foot, and the last one was from backing into a stump grinder. A log got me, while an outrigger bit Jerry.
