  1. Shoot, I've a lot of shots. After awhile they all look the same.
  2. I think the outriggers are too small for the crane. The truck size is fine.
  3. We don't use chains over here, bleagh. Slings are used mostly. I didn't ask about the weight, I should have. I do crane jobs all the time. Here's that same crane, I'm in the 17 ton in a basket. This is one of my fav pics. Notice the two lineman on the pole restoring the service drop to the apartment? The top of that water oak had previously smashed on the roof a few days ago. It was a cool job. This job was weird, working out of an irrigation canal.
  4. I can only guess as to the dollar amount of damage. I imagine I'll find out something more about that later.
  5. I had a live oak to trim after that. The job was for some nuns in a convent.
  6. Thanks, it was over mighty quick.
  7. Dang! Is it my breath, whoooore whut?
  8. Ahh sorry, I shoulda said - there were no injurys.
  9. This happened yesterday, and it wasn't on my job. From what I could tell, the pick was way heavy and it flipped. The climber rigged the sling much too low, and the crane operator didn't see it because he said he couldn't see what was going on. Hmmmm. That, combined with (what I think) the boom being too much for the outriggers, caused the accident. This guy just put this crane together a month ago. Those fellas are in a world of hurt right about now.
  10. This was a cool job yesterday. Three cuts and it was over!
  11. Whoa, that's about the best I've ever seen! Excellent!!!
  12. So, update us please. Are you gonna live???
  13. Awww, a 'lil tree paint and she's good to go!
  14. Yea, but not as much as it should. It's the best guitar I've ever owned! Here's what she looks like w/o the Axewrap.
  15. Yes sir it is, no Epiphone. It has a transparent black flamed finish, but I got bored with that and slapped an EVH style AxeWraps on it.
  16. Don't forget the wet wipes!!!
  17. I do it all the time!!!
  18. Thick? What does thickness have to do with the price of rice in China? Black absorbs heat, white reflects it. Simple.
  19. I'm doing it wrong.
  20. As said before, If I have time I'll tickle a new chain. It's not such a crazy thing to do.
  21. I woulda skipped all the drama and simply pulled the entire tree over. You had the equipment and the stump was sound. It's not always about speed, bit it's nice when you can start cleaning up ASAP. It looked like a nice job.
  22. I'm gonna hold out instead for the Headstand Game.
  23. Any Irishmen in here? LINK
  24. NEVER use grinder on your gaffs.
  25. Lordy! I hope my leg lift contraption doesn't do the same thing. Meh, it's been there over twenty years...
