dead easy Ed, blast the dirt away, root prune as a tree spade would and keep the roots well watered, burlap and go!

Thats sad to hear, i'd go to the ends of the earth to help my imediate family and almost have, i've got a couple of mates i'd do the same for, I hope they'd do the same for me as well.. I hope your mate gets himself sorted Andy

if he was a very very very good friend I might lend him a grand to get through a bad patch.... But as a rule I only help out my family, bloods thicker than water and all that..

can't see the point of a big chipper on a mog the chip boxes are totally inadequate, be alright if you had a decent chip trailer though

You could always remove the tree using an air-spade and root pruning technique

I had the area VOSA enforcment boys around mine the other day, one of them is a mate of my Dads, if your ag/forestry/horticultural exempt from using a tacho, as longs as you don't go out of your ''50k as the crow flys radius'' you don't even have to fill in a log book, and thats the law!

seen them at plenty of arb shows on Mogs etc, from what I gaver they're a pretty good chipper
