  1. Would anybody namely the site owner and the picture poster [Monkeyd] be offended if I used a couple of your brilliant coronet cut photographs, for my new website?
  2. Bugger somebody already got number 1...
  3. number1 is an osage orange, jeez the things a sad tree surgeon stores in his head, though i've never seen one in the flesh i'm certain what it is, its in one of my tree books, and if anyone knows me, something sounding like food always get my attention lol http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osage-orange

  6. i'm sure there is another open day in April, yep sister-inlaw has just had to fill in the forms it definatly says 2 years, shes going to OZ with my brother in-law I'll try and find the date and place for the next open day..
  7. Shame about the buck size
  8. The only thing that puts me off emigrating is elderly in-laws and parents.
  9. and respirator lol
  10. I don't think its that hard to move to OZ or NZ, as long as you have some formal quals, kept your nose clean with the law for the last 2 years and your under 45, my mate went to an open day in London hosted by Australian firms, he got a job and sponser their and then, in fact he was offered 2 jobs, he's going to be a refrigeration engineer, though he had the chance to work for a firm fitting garage doors.
  11. Completely wrong Marc, i'll pm you!
  12. Ok my day has consisted of eating, surfing the net and nodding off. The weather down here today has been damp, dark and murkey all day to say the least. My kids have been bored stiff allday, if you take them out it costs an arm and a leg. Work is pretty slow, rates are pi$$ poor, and running costs are a joke. Fuel prices look set to go up further next week! So i've been thinking who amongst us would consider emigrating given the chance? i've done a poll. I have heard in the last few weeks of several Brits, [friends and family] planning on emigrating to Australia, NZ, Canada and Ireland, some have already gone P.S I haven't even touched the subject of house prices!
  13. With some Japenese intervention, Landrovers could be a world beating 4x4 imo
  14. As much as I dislike Landrovers and doubt i'll ever own one again, I have a feeling of admiration for yours Madmatt, as daft as it sounds lol
  15. I'm not a fan of Landrovers, way too much money imo for dreadfull build quality and bugger all spec, I bought a new td5 90 defender, you couldn't hold a conversation with your passenger due to the noise [no engine sound proofing] after 6 months I couldn't wait to sell it.It leaked water, the heater never worked, back door hinges broke, the door latch fell apart daily, the body work looked like a kid had through stones at it due to the rivetts.. I wish we could get Toyota Landcruiser trucks in this country!
  16. What a frigging joke, the fools running this country make me feel sick to the pit!!!!!
  17. My mate Dick has a shear on a bobcat it will cut through 14''. I personally can't see that much use for them, but thats just my opinion
  18. Thats what you pay when you live the stix mate, it isn't cheap for us rural folk
  19. To behonest as long as they're qualified and insured I couldn't care less, apart from the serious undercutting of course!
  20. not been undercut by Europeans, but most definatly by bigger UK firms
  21. I begrudge all the money we and the allies spent building up Germany and Japan, that makes me sick!
  22. Everyone I know around here with a big grinder has it sit around the yard most of the time,Steve will back me up on that.
  23. my 27hp Danequip goes through a 26'' opening
  24. Well you will never in a million years get that kind of money around here......
  25. Churchill also said 'more jaw less war' . I agree with you Matty, the lack of respect people have these days is terrible!
