  1. happy birthday lee. wish i was only 40!
  2. Timberwolf is looking for a Demonstrator/Dealer Support specialist to join its team. Based at Stowmarket in Suffolk, the role is to demonstrate TW machines nationally to end users, hire operators, contractors, councils and large utilities, and to liase with and support the TW dealership network. Regular travelling and some overnight stays away from base will be necessary, but of course expenses apply! This is a great opportunity for an arb/landscaping professional who is looking to put their experience and knowledge to use in a wider commercial environment. Excellent T&Cs and career prospects. Please PM me if interested.
  3. Hi Drop me your contact number in a pm and you'll get a call from TW tech on Monday to help!
  4. Yep, the hire network's really busy right now..... If you want, you can send me your tel no. in a pm and I'll call you - we'll get you in contact with someone that can solve the problem! Cheers.
  5. Timberwolf Hire will arrange contact for you from hire outlets in your area. It's a free (and Freefone) nationwide referral service. http://www.timberwolf-uk.com/hire.htm
  6. Is anyone currently/recently mobile between different regions in the UK? Is there a marked difference in charge out rates between North/South/East/West? If so, do you notice a difference in running costs as well?
  7. Council, contract or private work? Is there more money for the individual in subbing vs running own gang(s)?
  8. Incorporting a limited company is all through Companies House Steve - It's dead cheap (£20 Co Hse fee). You can employ an 'agent' to do it all for you and you'll get everything set up including all statutory docs (Memorandum of Association, Articles of Association, Share certs, Minute book etc) and you shouldn't pay more than £100 all in, probably less.
  9. Correct Bob. TW blades are hollow ground as standard on all models. Have been for years.
  10. Braked 150 pre mid 2005 a tad over the 750kg wet weighed. As Toddster says, remove the spare wheel from the load funnel = sub 750kg. Braked 150s since mid 2005 are 746kg - spot on Maxi!
