Billy, what makes you think all 935s will be the same? Im sure though, if yours is as worn as mine, any key that goes in the slot will work! If you really want I could get one of mine cut, but it would be a bit of a pain, and definately couldnt be done before weekend. Let me know if you want to wait till then, but personally Id try any keys you have lieing around, there's bound to be one that fits!

We just did one yesterday approx 60 feet of 28" and no one wanted it. Ringed it for firewood in the end. IMO, if you get chance of someone coming for it for nothing, it will save you some work:thumbup1:

Ok, just wanted to get prespective in mind. Is it the type of job you would carry out on your own? Not sticking up for the guy, but its one job I hate and I do charge a bit of a premium for, although I realise its more of a specialised field for you. Hope things are going well for you Fi. Are you likely to be pole climbing at apf this year?

My wife used to work for a collections department in a subsidury of Barclays Bank. It was her job to assess the amount the debter was offering to pay off each month, and what the agency wanted them to pay. They had to fill out details of all their outgoings, both essential and luxury. Most of them came back with all those on your "NOT" list Tom, even some with foreign holidays and one with a budget of £1500 for xmas prezzies for two kids! The trouble is, a lot of the people in this situation have lost the grasp of what is real and not.

This has also come to a head Lee. It could be that for those living in expensive places are being told to move out to somewhere cheaper, as they probaly have no job that keeps them in such an area!

Ok, sounding good so far, I could be tempted. I see Mr Jones is selling 362s at about £550 inc vat at the moment without a bar. So given these saws(361) are now obsolete and the "C" was never a good seller, how much would be a fair price be for one?

There must be plenty who deserve the whole lot. Unfortunately, the media are not doing a very good job of presenting needy cases IMO. Tonight I was watching one single, divorced parent with 4 or 5 dependants, who had a part time job was moaning about her benifits being cut by £2k. The presenter described her situation as being hard as she couldnt get a full time job because she couldnt afford child care. How about get a full time job, and then you can afford child care? No, I doubt it, problem being she is best off on the state. Doing a few sums, combined CSA payments, benifits and her job she could easily be drawing £800/week tax free to live on. No wonder she was moaning!

Yeh, I see there must be advantges with it, just heard some folk hate it though. I guess the front brake is virtually redundant then, and only clicks in with a kick back, otherwise you leave it open all the time?

I realise recently there was someone asking if 360 parts would interchange with a 362, but what about 360/361? I have chance of buying an MS361c but not sure if I will be able to get on with the extra safety chain break. I also have a heap of 360s so could be an option to change the "C" to standard if I dont get on with it. So, anyone know if the handles, brake ring, clutch cover etc will swap?

If you got a 60cc saw with 18 or 20" bar, you will be amazed how little you end up using either the 260 or 660. Very good all round size IMO for arb work.

362 or 361 it is then. The 441, is a very similar weight to the 460 so the next real drop in weight is 60cc as swinny says.

The 460 is an awasome saw agreed, but IMO is a bit close power wise to the 660 if looking for a saw midway.

Doubt you'll get a 441 for £500 Rob, but you never know! I'd go for the 362 myself. I do happen to know where there's a couple of 361s left if you're interested. They were better than the 362 IMO
