  1. Marko, I think what Nick means, and the point I was sarcastically meaning is that for the hassle caused by most of the "wood turners" out there, it may as well be on the firewood heap. If a tree bloke gets the chance of a reliable miller or turner to take all this so called "valuable" timber away without fuss they are very, very lucky. It maybe harsh, but true. P.S, the yew I've been burning on my stove for the last week is very hot. .
  2. I'd say there was £100 worth of firewood in that!
  3. Well Im 44 now, the body doesnt climb so well now but the mind climbs like a 25 year old:thumbup:
  4. Cheers for the advice Spud, I'll definately make sure its right, I want it to last me.
  5. Cheers Carl, will do. Just let me know about the money.
  6. CCheers Dean, looks like the plan. just could do to find out size of outlets next.
  7. Pete, I've done a lot of searching and it appears there never was one available. Carl, you mean you have already gutted it? What ever, I'd be interested in it. let me know what you want for it, or I could make a donation or summat?
  8. Hope someone can help. I'm wanting to mod a 361 but as the exhaust is a sealed unit I'm wondering whats the best way forward. So, has anyone ever done one, bought one in from states etc, if so, any info, pics, links as I'm (pardon the punn) baffled with this one!
  9. Mail sent Ian, let me know you got it ok.

  10. Me with crossed wires then, sorry. Just saw it was in firewood forum and looked at title, then assumed! Lol! So was I far out on value of logs?
  11. Cheers Ian, Ill have to do some digging so bare with me.

    Pete.

  12. Seasoned hardwood delivered between £60 -70 a bag. (0.73 cube like those)
  13. Ok, I do have some rings that have been cut for about 18 months if you are interested? Send me a PM with an e-mail address and I can send you some pics.
  14. Yeh, a bit like "Hello doctor, my friend has this, erm, rash"
  15. I'm deffinately up for it! A 560 would be the benchmark to beat Chris,as I say I'd love to run my 360 against one before it dies. I have the 036, 360, and now a new, yes new 361(there is a story behind that though) to compare in the 60cc bracket. Also such as the ported 260, 192 etc etc. Im sure such as Nige and Brett would be up for it, it wouldnt take much to get a crowd with a massive heap of toys!
  16. Ok, may be worth trying then. TBH, I ended up ignoring the ring on mine in the end and just clipping straight onto the bridge. Seemed better but the carab could go over the shackle then:001_rolleyes:
  17. Not sure that will overcome the issue of it falling into the narrower part of the bridge though. Due to the radius of the loops on the swivel, it may even be worse than the rings.
  18. Every person is different when it comes to favourite harnesses, there's no hard and fast rule. As a suggestion if you are waiting until July, why not go to one of the arb shows later in the year, where you can try on many, many different harnesses and get one thats best for you?
  19. Do you mean the bit where the bridge goes thinner near the end where the sheathing finishes? If so, Im not sure there's much can be done with that bridge. Not sure about changing it for something else as it may not be suitable for that harness. Someone else may help on the suitability point. The harness is a good one though, my favourite TBH.
  20. Sounds like you have oversized rings on your bridge. The standard ones wont go over the shackle. Not sure there is a real answer as the standard smaller ring wont take two carabs. This was the main reason I stopped using mine though. Only thing I can think of is see if you can manage with one carab attachment system, and use the smaller ring. Not sure if that helps, but welcome anyway.
  21. Looks like that was real fun, only just had chance to watch all the vids:thumbup: I would of loved to see my 360 against that 560 Matty:sneaky2:
  22. Nice one Nige, looks like all went well. Platform invaluable there.
