  5. Going to the trade fair, doing the 3atc, and i should be at guilddford too. Be good to catch up.
  6. Seems like a lot. What companies have you tried? A small sole trader tree surgery company should be able to get insured for under a grand, so I would have thought you could get it much cheaper that £2800 Have you tried the NFU?
  7. Nice one Stu! Perhaps that is the recipe for masters success then.
  8. I have used timberwolf, jensen, greenmech, vermeer, kwik chip, entec, TP, and woodsman. I wouldnt buy a 6" chipper anyway, but the nearest thing i would consider is the greenmech 19-28. Excellent small chipper.

    Been busy.

So in summary, you dismantled a little tree, caught a mouse stealing your fags and slotted the little bugger, stole a tractor and joyrided it through the woods, took some pictures of your crotch up a tree, experimented with some wierd arboreal bondage with shackles and wire ropes, before abandoning said tractor in woods, and presumably went down the pub?

  17. Sounds like a lot in terms of what it can do in a day, but its probably appropriate to the purchase and running costs of the machine.
  18. Especially not when you've been on a marathon Power Ranger dvd session!
  19. Tbh I'v never done a tachyon, but the brion toss instructions for db include stitching the crossover anyway. I figure if its makes the job easier its worth doing.

Too bulky for me, try a Trango Cinch.
  21. Did you stitch the crossover together before burying it?
  22. Lovely crane mate, cracking job all round really!
  23. I'd have had that off you, if it was roadside.
  24. If the work is routine maintenance work, like hedge trimming for instance, then its exempt. If the work is specifically related to the construction work, then its not exempt. It all depends how you word the invoice...............
