advice needed on trailer mounted hiab of crane

Hello Ali There is a guy on here who sells a different trailer setup to the jasp wilson one. I think its Chris Sheppard who works for Riko. Heres a linkfast tow trailer -
I hope that oil drum had a valid loler certificate?! Seriously though, nice mog but the payload is very limited. Where exactly wouldnt you be able to reach with a mog anyway, I thought they were supposed to be go anywhere vehicles?!

Even with a skidsteer/mini loader? I have done back garden jobs with it where we took a fence panel out and ran all the timber out in 5 foot lengths through next door's garden. My truck will go nearly anywhere a 7.5 tonner will, as its only marginally wider and longer than a Cargo. Getting down most driveways is not a problem, and with the crane on the back you normally get pretty good reach. I can crane out over the length of a standard single garage too.

Thats sounds awesome! I can still come up for a few days if you have the jobs for it, I have had enquiries from other clients in the NW, so if I can put a few days work together it would be worthwhile.

Having just invested in a crane truck, I am interested to know what the rest of you do with your timber. Do you ring it all up and load it by hand, do you have your own truck or timber trailer, or do you use a subcontractor to shift it for you? Personally, I have ringed up and hand loaded enough trees to last me a lifetime!

Truck's great, best bit of kit I have ever bought. Just got the interim O licence, so fingers crossed i'll get the full one in due course. Lot of legwork involved in getting it though! You run a timber trailer?

The fixed attachment point is a great place to attach a footlock strop. The lower the croll is, the more freedom of movement you have, and the easier it is to operate the handled ascender. There physically isnt enough room on the waistbelt for a buckle and the front attachment and the adjusters too.

Keep the SRT for sure, the only annoying thing about it it the lack of quick release buckles, but I find the regular version's buckle at the front chafes somewhat. Also the srt attachment is great for footlocking! Definately try the croll with the sequioa, the croll should be as low as possible to the harness. The reason no-one can remember srt rescue set-ups is that they are so devilishly complicated. Think about what you need to do and break it down into steps. 1 ascend the casualties line 2 setup descent system above casualty, transfer yourself to new system 3 setup mechanical advantage system to lift casualty off their system 4 attach casualty to your harness, release their system and descend. There may be a few finer points omitted there, but you get the general idea

Its probably a sport. Some species are prone to genetic mutations, which is where cultivars that are variegated or have an unusual habit of growth come from. A pure white variation would not be viable however as it has no chlorophyll and therefore cannot photosynthesise.

Zing it 1.75 mm, 10 or 12 oz bag, preferably one of each. Buy a throwline cube to keep it in too, and never ever try to coil it up!

I love my 441, low vibes, very frugal on fuel, but I wouldnt run it with more than a 25" bar. I find its happiest with 20", but will run 25 when required. I think you will find the 460 more suited to your needs. What bar did you run on the 440?
