  1. I sliced and diced the tallest silver lime in Stockport a few years ago after it blew over. I think it was around 65 feet tall.
  2. Is it a Macadamia?
  3. Do you mean the Guides would eat the dogs or the dogs would eat the girls? I got thrown out the Scouts for eating a Brownie............
  4. Is it Antipodean?
  5. Perhaps just to complete the circle you should have had barbequed Tit for your lunch?!
  6. My thoughts exactly.
  7. Buy a cabstar, they are plated at 3450kg anyway!
  8. Thats a nice sized oak! Good work.

    Sweet job!
  10. I was just pulling your leg mate, hadnt really looked at the piccies!
  11. Whats the big brown stain on the back from Liam?!
  12. Just a thought Tommy, I put the retrieval line on the little ring on the other end of the RG, and crotch the retrieval line itself a few feet higher than the RG. Then if it sticks during retrieval you can sometimes lift it and give it a bit of a shake to help the pulley through the ring. Got me out of trouble a few times! Does attaching the retrieval line on the big ring do the same thing?
  13. Always worth having your own insurance, PL and EL. That way you know you are covered.
  14. Yup, Proclimber is dead, long live arbtalk!

Who are you working for now then?

  16. Hello ozy. Are you another proclimber refugee?

  17. Oooh Rupert, you're such a tease!
  18. I especiall like the roof rack mounted cherry picker. Every subaru should have one!
  19. I never ring anything up, I sell it in the round to firewood merchants. (Steve) Even if I did my own firewood I wouldnt ring it up, I'd split it into billets in 7-8 foot lengths and saw them to length with a bench saw. Less wastage, quicker, less mess, and less backache.
  20. Hello Ali There is a guy on here who sells a different trailer setup to the jasp wilson one. I think its Chris Sheppard who works for Riko. Heres a linkfast tow trailer
  21. I hope that oil drum had a valid loler certificate?! Seriously though, nice mog but the payload is very limited. Where exactly wouldnt you be able to reach with a mog anyway, I thought they were supposed to be go anywhere vehicles?!
  22. Handy for the M5 then Tom!
  23. Even with a skidsteer/mini loader? I have done back garden jobs with it where we took a fence panel out and ran all the timber out in 5 foot lengths through next door's garden. My truck will go nearly anywhere a 7.5 tonner will, as its only marginally wider and longer than a Cargo. Getting down most driveways is not a problem, and with the crane on the back you normally get pretty good reach. I can crane out over the length of a standard single garage too.
  24. Thats sounds awesome! I can still come up for a few days if you have the jobs for it, I have had enquiries from other clients in the NW, so if I can put a few days work together it would be worthwhile.
  25. Some contact info would go a long way mate. Welcome to the forum.
