  1. The 084 will get around a 4 minute per day rating I'd imagine. However I have a special deal for local authorities, for a small fee I will take it off your hands and dispose of it safely.

Not got many good pics of my truck, every time its goes out I'm too busy to stop and get any. Must make more of an effort!

Yes, Steve has the footage, might be a wee while before it gets edited into something useful.
  5. Bats with vertigo?
  6. Doublebraid is a headtrip at first, but once you have the hang of it you wont want to go back to 16 strand!
  7. Pretty expensive though with two revolvers, getting on for the same price as a Coccon I dare say? Also I really dont like dropping biners, ever, and putting a retrieval line in every time kinda sucks.

Interesting rescue scenario. I'd have connected the casualty to my harness and cut his rope..... I presume some sort of MA rig to lift his weight off the know was in order?
  9. Missed that the first time around. John, if you have a bone to pick with one or more of the Treeimagineers team, I would suggest that a public forum is not the place to do it.
  10. Hang on to it then, and if you ever move house tell them you lost it and you need a new one! If the DVLA ever get hold of it then you will loose it for sure!
  11. C1E is different to C1+E If you have a pre97 licence, when the categories got changed in 97, there was a very narrow window to change your licence and keep your full 7.5 tonne truck and towing entitlement. If you missed that window, when you got a new licence they will have given you C1E, which entitles you to tow 750 kg with a 7.5 tonne truck, hence 8250kg MAM. If you take the test for C1+E, then you will get the full towing entitlement, which is 3500kg, or 11000kg MAM.
  12. Luvverly job, was there anything wrong with the tree? (before you started that is)
  13. Both good for the price, some people dont like the zero friction effect of the pulley, but if that appeals to you and you can afford it, go for the rope guide.
  14. Oh, we'd have them down alright, BUT, it would take a full day to rake up after us, let alone chip all the brash.....
  15. I dont care how many staff you have and how big your chipper is, there is no way you can rig down 5 of those trees and bash out the others on that site in one day. There just isnt the room.
  16. It will if its clear lacquered.
  17. Anything over 3.5 tonne comes under all the hgv regs, including drivers hours, o licence, PMIs etc. Unless you are claiming an exemption, as tommer says.
  18. Do you know how much the fines were? Just the court costs are enough, with a presumably hefty fine on top that going to sting!
  19. Haha, thats the best summing up of Trollworld I'v ever read!
  20. How long does it take to fill that chip box? 3 or 4 minutes?!
  21. Great story X Man. Not sure I believe all of it though, I mean, who does estimates on a Saturday...... Crane pics please!
  22. Hmm, some good burning there, I normally talk clients out of reductions and into fells........
  23. You do work in some grotty sites mate. Nice finished shape, a perfect lollipop!
  24. PM me the address, and I'll get my biggest saw out and head down there!
