  1. Cool machines.
  2. Yeah, good luck with the operation.
  3. You could always try your local electric powerline contractors who have, in the past, sold me a set that they have had fallen from the back of a van. 50 quid is all I have ever paid for them.
  4. 141530 Klein Climbing Irons from Stanton Hope I bet they will be cheap from here. http://www.aus.co.uk/brochure/arbd84a.html?dept_id=8
  5. Before your time Paul.
  6. I am not mentioning the company on the forum but those that know will be happy.
  7. Well done Dave for winning your case, maybe they will think again before they exploit their workers, treat them illegally then lie about the reasons for dismissal.
  8. Nice, I love bike engined cars, especially the Mini. zcars.org.uk
  9. We don't have the screen in our version of the MS200t Roger.
  10. Interesting information.
  11. Sorry.
  12. I wonder if new builds will now come with chimneys now?, so many modern houses have no provision for wood fuel systems.
  13. But yeah, it's a good idea and some people will buy it.
  14. Rupe pushes a hot file through the end of the rope creating a hole to attach whatever.
  15. I use a dog lead clip or a Mallion. Spliced rope.
  16. I have used BT draw rope, works quite well, cheap, two ton break limit, (I think) and it's easy to splice mid line if it snaps.
  17. Well it was nice to meet you all, a very good day! If you are at all interested in learning about splicing and of course splicing ropes, you should give Nods workshops some serious consideration.
  18. I think anyone suggesting that PPE without a CE mark is acceptable is treading on thin ice. Either it doesnt meet the standards or the CE mark has been removed through abuse/excessive wear or intent. Whichever is the case it would be dodgy for it to pass a thorough inspection. Yeah your right but I was given the very same information when I did my loler course, no CE mark? Not a problem if it is deemed fit for purpose according to the training provider. That said I haven't done an update and don't intend to as I don't do inspections anyway.
  19. Oh, hah! I am slow.
  20. We can't all be super speedy like you young punks!
  21. Brand new, how come? I have two 020ts they are basically the same as the 200ts apart from screw cap oil and fuel caps, also the 200t as evolved over the years the breather from the tank is redesigned into the handle, one thing I have noticed is the ms200t seems to use more fuel than the 020t although it could be that I use my saw differently than the contractors who work with me who use the ms200t.
  22. Oh right, I'm no longer in the dark then.
  23. If a rope that is spliced either end milks then surely you will be left with a rope that has excess cover/bunching in the middle of the rope?
  24. Sean, that's where I purchased mine, Mark, it comes with a strap, I cut it down to size.
  25. It hasn't got one, well, the mouth of it is fleece but not the interior. I'll try it out tomorrow, hopefully my cinch will turn up this week to complete the package.
