  1. You should have just posted that last pic Ed. It looks as though Matt is doing the towing, but then again seeing him get stuck, well.........
  2. He walk, breathes, shares his misfortune and mistakes for others to learn from............... oh sorry, we should all commit suicide as the world is ending, hence no positive posibilities in this life as we know it:scared1:

  8. You will require a separate feed from your consumer box to your workshop, then a 2nd consumer box in there if memory serves me. I no longer have current regs, but i'd give a sparky a ring if i were you. You could always prep the site for them to connect it all up to the mains feed if you get the right info
  9. 8in plus with 53hp might be a real stretch. I'd be wanting 90plus for an 8in machine
  10. Farmi or TP
  11. So many factors to consider. Degree of rot/decay, stability, necessity to rig etc My judgement is on a tree by tree basis
  12. Is this going to be a process? As in will you continually reduce the tree each time reducing it's crown size and hopefully maintain a viable canopy?
  13. i think it would be good to brutalise a tree for a comparison. Maybe my less orthodox pruning may provide similar strong apical regrowth:001_tongue:
  14. Do you think that the painstaking effort of cornet cutting of each limb, compared to crude reduction with tears etc makes any diference in the patterns of regrowth and vigour?
  15. The APF site might just be big enough to park that behemoth down- thought you wanted to drink the stuff not park it 80 foot under:001_tongue:
  16. Better get those white socks washed then
  17. This smart bugger might just take a cool box to hell and back:001_cool:
  18. Scabby old 3 strand (1/2 inch) that i relegated from tow rope duty
  19. mmmmmmmmmm might even get some this time if i can beat Andy too it:001_cool:
  20. I like the SIPS jackets- hi vis and stretchy, plus light enough for summer
  21. It's a compensation thing........................... makes up for my small ego:001_cool:
  22. It looks like it's got a terminal case Tim. Is the bark lifting and splitting?
  23. Pog ma thon - gaelic for "kiis my ass" so tune of the same name by the keltic cowboys [ame] [/ame]
