  1. Plane fare will be cheaper than the divorce Lee- laters:001_tongue:
  2. Poll is a little lacking in options- I'm on the "work hard relax hard and avoid the gym like the plaugue" option
  3. A47 is my vote too- fast drive up and over the mountain:001_cool:
  4. Always a possibility, but if we change it will change the weather also no doubt:scared1: the weather patterns here are really screwed being on top of the pennines
  5. http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/yh/huddersfield_forecast_weather.html
  6. Look like the SIPS saw protection sleeves. I have a hook for hanging the saw high but i never use it on the body of the saw
  7. Due to the onset of the typically wet british summer, and the everchanging forecaste for this weekend. I am going to assess the weather on friday night. If the outlook is bad then the event will be posponed as there is little joy in travelling from near and far, to get drowned and sit in a barn, having to listen to Dean's witty banter (It's like having your fingernails being pulled with pliers:ohmy:) I will update this thread at about 7pm friday evening when a decision has been made. If people will be away from there puters they can pm me for my mobile number to find out the state of affairs Fingers crossed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pete
  8. I have 3 lanyards- 2 rope; ones with the cinch like peters and a ART positioner on the other. Plus a wire core with a vt. If your keeping it simple and cheap then it's the VT all the way
  9. Ditto- why give them an inferiority complex?
  10. He is a balanced individual Huck- the chip on each shoulder balances his personality well:001_cool:
  11. http://www.honeybros.com/index.php?app=gbu0&ns=prodshow&ref=HB94A&sid=nszzlam3hf71n15i8j685sp45ycm2n58 (Recomending a SWL of 4 to 1 7620 / 1950 = 3.9) Hello Honey brothers , don't you think you should address current best practice or at least qualify and quantify your factors of safety ???????????
  12. Ditto Rob- I now realise how little i know about splicing. Oh and my hands are knackered too- cheers Nod
  13. Any doubt in a bit of kit then simply remove it from use. Krabs are cheap
  14. Kid's with a junk habit I bet. Kick enough of em and the next one's will just start carrying. No amount of legislation or draconian reprisals either legal or not will deter such individuals. There has been scum and haters since the begining of time- there will be at the end
  15. I would go for a larger porta-wrap eg the buckingham or the ISC. A fraction of the price
  16. Was that near the HRI Dean- the place was crawling with police this evening, plus the bus shelter wa cordened off Wish I owned a couple of pits- good for scrote and chav hunting !
  17. Just a fun get together- here is a link to the first one we had earlier this year http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=1551&page=13
  18. No worries- 3 stand and a bailing twine for a pussic for Dean, oh and a handfull of magic mushrooms for Peter to float around on. Have to source your own light sabre though.
  19. Posh git- trust me it will be Asda:001_tongue: Is there anything particular kit/technique wise that people want us to cover or bring with us?
  20. The cutting was ok, but me thinks i'd have positioned the basket elsewhere. Providing the rigging line is substantial enough, shock loading is less of an issue when your not tied in
  21. I will put some directions up later this week. Not bad from manchester a it is only 5/10 mins form the M62
  22. Bump. A week away now
  23. A wide bearth because you forgot to get her anything !
  24. my friends - those on here and those not are my fiercest critics and i'm not famous for holding back with them either. So does your inference of favoritism allow you to evade the other questions asked of you?
