Seen a few moaning posts on facebook, but looking at the budget can't really see it effects me at all. Whats your opinion?

Without seeing a photo the method you describe sounds like what i'd do. Maybe rope it off to itself just to stop it freefalling if necessary

Thats not my experience at all....and I can think of very few people who were brought up in this industry...its not farming! I think companies are fed up of taking on new staff, investing money in them only for them to leave as soon as they have a bit of experience under their belts. You can't blame companies for being hesitant!

I just let it drop. Its extremely rare for it to take a big drop, most of the time it drops over several branches before hitting the ground. I know technically it should be lowered but to be honest I can't be arsed!

Well I booked a day off today for my little girls sports day, text this morning saying it's cancelled due to the rain. We haven't had a spot all day!!
