  1. Fantastic editing there mate, did you do it yourself?
  2. Maybe they did, not seen or heard it mentioned anywhere in a while...not a bad thing!
  3. Does it grab ok? I suspect you will notice it start to creep when the cam gets worn a little. They all creep eventually, but in theory it should happen sooner with a 10mm rope. Those cams are only meant for as low as 11mm arent they? Considered a cinch? Personally i hated mine but a lot of people seemed to like them
  4. Suffolk tree services are always looking, probably a bit far for you though assuming you are on the Norfolk/Suffolk border? MB Trees near Stowmarket are always looking too.
  5. you should be making use of the classifieds here
  6. Was hoping to see them catch the thieves red handed
  7. Very cold here today but bright and sunny, perfect working weather
  8. Anyone would be stupid to tell you YES to your question. In my time I have rigged plenty of Beech trees with Kretz however but have always taken care to not rig anything too large or cause any shockloading. A mewp or crane would almost certainly be the safest option
  9. Danny, please stop posting the same message on every single employment thread you can find. Most of these ads give clear instructions what they want you to do, in this case email a CV or you can send a private message to the poster
  10. husky 357 and it was nothing but a pig. Took it into the saw shop numerous times over a 2 year period and it always come back running crap still. Eventually I took it to a different mechanic. It came back a different saw and cut like a dream. 2 days later it seized
  11. Just saw this on a friends facebook page. What an original idea
  12. This is the nearest I have unfortunately
  13. You could always leave, rather than insult new members. Thanks
  14. theres so much choice, as said find a dealer and try stuff on, but you can narrow things down a fair bit if you set yourself a budget. You get what you pay for though.......most of the time
  15. Thanks for the heads up, and welcome to the forum
  16. How have I never heard of this before?
  17. Come across countless Elders in my time, but never a fir
  18. NHS, or any government role for that matter are the worst in my experience. There is always at least one person in each department who spends more time off sick than actually at work
  19. One thing that hasn't been mentioned yet is the turning circle on the japanese trucks compared to the transit. It does make life a lot easier! Personally im not a fan of transits but they do the job....except for the 15 plate i drove recently that had a clutch made of butter and couldnt reverse a chipper up a 10 degree incline
  20. I know i've said it before David, but it really is beyond me how you keep track of this stuff and where you posted it
