  5. We pollarded a load years ago, funnily enough I was looking at houses on rightmove yesterday and saw the trees in the background of one of the photos. They had come back fine from that

All valid points. web builders have been around for years though, wix is nothing new, they have just put more money into their marketing than all the others. there will always be plenty of people who don’t have the time or the will to make their own site. Plus there’s more to it than just knocking a site up that is visually ok

  14. Been bowling over some 100ft poplars this week, quite a treat to get these in my last days. Had to knock this stoggle over today, was only one way it go really go and the customer was aware that there was a pretty good chance it would trash his log store. I was hoping to avoid it all the same as I like a challenge. There was no hope though. Gobbled it away from the store with what little leeway I had, put a winch on it and left a thick hinge one side to hopefully hold it. The whole trunk was riddled with ganoderma all the way, It was far too far gone inside to have any decent holding wood unfortunately, but we kinda knew that its ok though because I left a note
